  • Patent number: 4894730
Abstract: A hand-held copier reads image data from an original while it is being swept across the original, and prints the image data on a sheet of printing paper while it is being swept across the printing paper. The copier has a memory for storing the image data read from the original. It has a start switch and a touch-detecting switch. The touch-detecting switch detects whether or not the copier appropriately contacts the original or the printing paper. The data-reading operation and the data-printing operation are controlled in accordance with whether these switches are turned on or off.

  • Patent number: 4891776
Abstract: An electronic timepiece comprises time count circuit for counting a reference signal to obtain present time data, item data storage for storing a plurality of item data, and external operation switch for inputting at least one of alarm time data and identification data corresponding to the plurality of item data stored in the item data storage. An alarm data storage stores the alarm time data and the identification data input by the external operation switch. A read controller detects a coincidence between the present time data obtained by the time count circuit and the alarm time data stored in the alarm time data storage and for reading out, from the item data storage, item data corresponding to the identification data stored in the alarm time data storage. A display displays the item data read out by the read controller.

  • Patent number: 4889980
Abstract: In an electronic memory card, an IC pellet has a number of electrode pads which are provided on one surface thereof and have a size larger than that of bonding terminals formed in the IC pellet. The IC pellett is received in a storage section of an upper inner core and is adhered on a writing substrate by an anisotropic conductive adhesive tape. Thus, internal connecting terminals formed ont he substrate are electrically connected through portions of the conductive tape to the electrode pads. The wiring substrate is mounted on a lower inner core and is received in a storage section of an intermediate inner core. Films are formed on the multi film structure of the inner core and wiring substrate and contact terminals are so provided in the film and inner core as to be connected to the internal connecting terminals.

  • Patent number: 4887188
Abstract: A connector for receiving a memory card employs a power supply switching mechanism, a memory card ejecting mechanism and a memory card lock mechanism. A connector body on which a plurality of connecting terminals to be connected with the memory card is mounted has a one piece structure with a pair of guide arms for slidably guiding the memory card. One of the guide arms is formed with a groove, where power supply terminal electrodes and a switching member are attached. An actuating member with a locking member and an actuator with an ejector member are also attached to the connector body. Operation of the actuating member is accompanied with the movements of the locking member, the switching member and the actuator. Movement of the locking member causes the memory card to lock, the switching member switches on the power supply, and the actuator serves to eject a card.

  • Patent number: 4881205
Abstract: A compact electronic apparatus employs a dynamic type memory, e.g., a dynamic random access memory (DRAM), a crystal oscillator circuit for generating a high frequency signal, and a resistor/capacitor (RC) circuit for generating a low frequency signal. When the apparatus is operated, the high frequency signal is used for accessing the data stored in the DRAM. When operation of the apparatus is interrupted, the DRAM is refreshed by the low frequency signal thus reducing the entire power consumption of the apparatus, since the power consumption of the RC oscillator circuit is lower than that of the crystal oscillator circuit.

  • Patent number: 4875400
Abstract: In preparing a musical tone by synthesizing tone waveforms from a plurality of tone waveform generators, touch response data representing parameters such as key depressing speed or string picking force is generated from a touch response data preparing unit. The obtained touch response data can be used to affect the musical tone. Touch curves can be independently designated to these tone waveform generators with a manually operating unit. A weighting device for modifying a touch curve by selecting loudness level and sensitivity is provided so that various touch curves can be attained from a single touch curve for weighting the musical tone.
