Abstract: In automatic travel control of a flying device towards a target, when a current distance from the target is large in comparison to a prescribed distance threshold, a controller of the flying device performs velocity feedback PID control to control the flight propulsion unit of the flying device. When the current distance becomes small in comparison to the prescribed distance threshold, the controller performs a hybrid of the velocity feedback PID control and position feedback PID control to control the flight propulsion unit such that as the flying device approaches the target, the position feedback PID control becomes more dominant than the velocity PID control. The processor calculates a weighted average of the respective manipulated variables with dynamically adjusted weights to achieve the hybrid control.
Abstract: A robot includes an operator and a processor. The operator is configured to cause a robot to operate. The processor acquires adornment information indicating an adornment that is applied to the robot, the adornment information being obtained based on a captured image of the robot. The processor controls the operator to perform an operation corresponding to the acquired adornment information.
Abstract: In a photographing system, a network camera transmits image information pertaining to an image captured by the network camera, a beacon transmits a beacon ID, a portable apparatus receives the beacon ID, generates tracking data which corresponds to the beacon ID on the basis of a reception status of the beacon ID and transmits the generated tracking data and a server receives the image information transmitted from the network camera and the tracking data transmitted from the portable apparatus and specifies images of parts relating to enter and leave times of an object from images in the image information on the basis of the image information and the tracking data.
Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes an image analysis unit, a biometric information measurement unit, and a determination selection unit. The image analysis unit detects a plurality of part images of a subject from the image including the subject captured by the imaging unit. The biometric information measurement unit obtains biometric information from at least one of the plurality of part images of the subject detected by the image analysis unit. The determination selection unit determines the detectability of biometric information on each of the plurality of part images of the subject detected by the image analysis unit. The determination selection unit makes a selection regarding acquisition of the biometric information of the subject on the basis of the detectability of the biometric information determined by the determination selection unit.

Abstract: A display control apparatus includes a processor configured to acquire a peripheral image around a predetermined object captured by image capture units. The predetermined object is different from the image capture units. The processor is also configured to determine whether or not a moving situation of an image of a moving subject included in the acquired peripheral image corresponds to a predetermined specific situation. The moving situation is a moving situation of the image of the moving subject with respect to the predetermined object. The processor is further configured to execute control to produce an output so as to display distinguishably on a display an image of a partial region among the peripheral image, the partial region including the image of the moving subject, when the moving situation of the image of the moving subject corresponds to the predetermined moving situation.
Abstract: According to an aspect of the present invention, a device capable of wireless communication includes a counter for counting current time, and a processor for setting a communication mode of the device to one of a notification mode in which the device sends a first notification signal for informing of its existence and a detection mode in which the device detects a second notification signal sent from other device. In the case that the processor changes the communication mode of the device from the notification mode to the detection mode and the second notification signal received in the detection mode includes first time information, the processor corrects time of the counter based on the first time information.

A mobile device detects its own speed, and an LED within the mobile device accomplishes light emission in accordance with any out of a first light emission pattern, a second light emission pattern and a third light emission pattern so that the light emission cycle becomes shorter the faster the speed of the mobile device. The device generates a frame based on a frame format defined by the communication protocol. The device generates a beacon frame so that at least one of the plurality of fields specified by the beacon frame format defined by the communication protocol is omitted.

Abstract: A positioning apparatus includes the following. A first oscillator outputs a clock signal. A second oscillator outputs a clock signal which is more accurate than the first oscillator. A receiver receives a radio wave from a positioning satellite. A positioning controller calculates a present position based on positioning information calculated from the received radio wave. The positioning controller controls switching of a supply source of the clock signal supplied to the receiver and the positioning controller between the first oscillator and the second oscillator depending on a reception status of the radio wave from the positioning satellite by the receiver.

Abstract: When an instruction is provided for changing a characteristic of a set filter which includes a plurality of partial filters and forms a specified characteristic by combining a plurality of partial filters, a processor performs, as crossfading processing for a first filter and a second filter among the plurality of partial filters, fade-out processing of gradually decreasing a degree of contribution of the first filter to the characteristic and fade-in processing of gradually increasing a degree of contribution of the second filter to the characteristic. As a result, unnaturalness occurring at the time of changing filter characteristics is solved.
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to obtain an image that is more similar to a real ink-wash painting. An ink-wash painting conversion unit converts data of an original image into data of a painterly image. A characteristic region detection unit detects a characteristic region of the original image from the data of the original image. A conversion unit executes gradation processing of gradating the characteristic region detected by the characteristic region detection unit, and margin setting processing of setting a margin region to be added to the painterly image, as image processing of further converting the data of the painterly image that was converted by the ink-wash painting conversion unit.
