Abstract: A display device of the invention relates to a display device capable of three-dimensionally representing display on a liquid crystal display element without a hologram. The display device includes a liquid crystal display element and a lens panel. The liquid crystal display element includes a plurality of transparent electrodes on opposed surfaces of a pair of transparent substrates between which a liquid crystal is provided. The lens panel is disposed on the bottom surface side of the liquid crystal display element, and has a plurality of lens portions. The respective lens portions are disposed in regions where the transparent electrodes correspond to each other, and formed in the same shape as that of the respective regions. When displaying information, e.g., a number and a character, on the liquid crystal display element, the information itself can be represented three-dimensionally through the lens portions. Thus, highly decorative display can be obtained.
Abstract: In a digital camera as an image pickup apparatus, a plurality of frame group data, each comprising data on a plurality of frames of an object as viewed from a like number of angles for obtaining a 3-D pseudoimage are stored beforehand in a flash ROM. In image pickup, an image of an object to be picked up from an angle is displayed along with a corresponding frame on a display. A user aligns the image of the object with the frame on the display. When the user depresses the shutter button, the image of the object is picked up. Such image pickup is repeated for a respective one of the remaining images of the object as viewed from other angles, thereby providing the respective still images for forming a 3-D pseudoimage.

Abstract: Noise included in image data output from an analog processing unit, is eliminated by a noise reduction circuit. The noise reduction circuit restricts a difference between a value of each of peripheral pixels and a value of a center pixel to a value a value having a predetermined noise constant defined as an upper limit with respect to each of the peripheral pixels, e.g., a pixel space of 5×5. The values of the peripheral pixels whose upper limits are restricted are defined as new values of the peripheral pixels. The value of the center pixel is converted into a value obtained by averaging the new values of the peripheral pixels and the value of the center pixel. In this manner, low pass filter processing is carried out.
Abstract: A head mounting display of a goggle type has a display, on which a guide image representing a model performance manipulation and an eyesight image of a practitioner are displayed in a superimposed manner. The guide image is adjusted its display size and position to be displayed on the display based on an image of a keyboard portion included in the eyesight image. Further, resolution and number of colors of the eyesight image are adjusted so as to meet those of the guide image or an animation image, resulting in reduction of data to be processed. Further, a side eyesight image of a hand of the practitioner playing an instrument is taken from the side, and it is determined if the practitioner's hand in the side eyesight image coincides with a model hand posture defined by judgment data which represents model manipulation performed in synchronization with progress of a song.

Abstract: When a photographed image which has been photographed by a camera is transmitted, a portable terminal equipped with such a camera is capable of transmitting the photographed image to a transmission destination thereof in a proper manner, while a user need not perform a specific operation as to this portable terminal equipped with the camera. Under such a condition that a CPU stores/manages a registration record in which images of persons have been registered in correspondence with mail addresses every person, in such a case that the CPU analyzes a photographed image photographed by a camera apparatus so as to recognize that an image of a person as a transmission subject is contained in this analyzed photographed image, the CPU transmits the recognized photographed image to such a mail address corresponding to the relevant person in the mail form.

Abstract: A graphic display control device easily changes a display of a graph or graphic by operating an area where a graph or graphic is generally displayed. When a CPU detects trace execution inputting, the CPU displays a trace pointer on a graph, and simultaneously displays coordinates at which the trace pointer is positioned. Further, when the CPU detects an operation of a graph controller by an input pen, the CPU adds a predetermined value to an x-coordinate value of the trace pointer to perform tracing of the graph.
