Patents Assigned to Central Japan Railway Company
  • Patent number: 9423415
Abstract: This sensor state determination system is a sensor state monitoring system capable of accurately determining whether or not a detecting sensor used with a railroad vehicle is in an abnormal state. This system includes: a detecting sensor capable of detecting a physical value acting upon the railroad vehicle; and an electronic control device. A monitoring sensor equivalent to the detection sensor is installed at a position equivalent to the position of the detection sensor. The electronic control device is provided with a determination means (coherence calculation section, state determination section) that computes, based on a first signal detected by the detecting sensor and a second signal detected by the monitoring sensor, a coherence value indicating a correlation between the signals. The electronic control device determines that the detecting sensor is in an abnormal state if the coherence value is smaller than a preset abnormality determination value.

  • Patent number: 9412511
Abstract: A transformer includes a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a core. The core is to be used in combination with the primary coil or the secondary coil, and includes a conductor storage part and a central part. The conductor storage part is a concave recess formed in an annular manner and configured to store a conductor of the coil therein. The central part is a region inward from the conductor when the core is used in combination with the coil. The central part has a recessed shape having an opening that opens toward a direction opposite to a direction of an opening of the concave recess. The central part has an end, at a side opposite to a side of the opening of the central part, which is generally flat so as to be contiguous with an inner opening edge of the conductor storage part.

  • Patent number: 9403540
Abstract: A railroad vehicle that moves a door to an airtight position and maintains air tightness of the door without increasing the size of a cylinder device; and a plug door for a railroad vehicle. When a door moves to a position, a piston extends in the vehicle width direction, a pressing member is contacts the inner surface of the door, and the door is moved toward a door frame. An auxiliary pressing device brings the piston into perpendicular contact with the inner surface of the door making it is possible to efficiently move and press the door without increasing the size of a cylinder device even when the door must be moved across a distance to arrive at an airtight position. The main pressing device is used to press the door toward the door frame.

  • Patent number: 9389202
Abstract: A damage detecting device according to one aspect of the present invention comprises a first speed generator, a second speed generator, a first waveform shaping section, a second waveform shaping section, and a determining section. The determining section compares a second rectangular wave shaped by the second waveform shaping section and a first rectangular wave shaped by the first waveform shaping section and, if the first rectangular wave is not output while the second rectangular wave is output, determines that a supporting device for an armature shaft is damaged or worn.

  • Patent number: 9380863
Abstract: A folding table includes: a table body provided with a pair of hinge pins and a pair of lock pins, each of the pairs protruding oppositely in left-right direction; and a pair of left and right brackets having shaft holes in which the hinge pins are inserted and movable holes in which the lock pins are inserted. Spring members mounted in the movable holes press the lock pins. The table body is rotatably supported by the brackets affixed to a wall surface. The folding table has closing plates having through-holes respectively through which the hinge pins and the lock pins are penetrated. The closing plates are sandwiched between the table body and the brackets to close the movable holes.

  • Publication number: 20160011325
Abstract: An earthquake prediction device comprises a predicted value calculation unit that calculates, from a prediction formula, a predicted value (MMIvp) indicating a predicted intensity of a ground motion on the Modified Mercalli Intensity scale, using a maximum velocity value (Vumax), which is the largest among absolute values of velocity component calculated by a vertical velocity calculation unit, after a sensor starts detecting the ground motion caused by an earthquake. The prediction formula is: MMIvp=?vlog10(Vumax)+?v.

  • Patent number: 9231494
Abstract: In a power supply device, the bridge circuit including a plurality of switching arms which is an inverse-parallel circuit of a semiconductor switch and a diode. The power supply device includes a control unit. The control unit switches the semiconductor switch such that a voltage v between AC terminals becomes a positive-negative voltage whose peak value is the voltage Vo between the DC terminals only during prescribed time periods before and after a point that has deviated from each zero crossing point ZCP of a current i by a prescribed compensation period ? and such that the voltage v between the AC terminals becomes a zero voltage during the other time periods, and sets the compensation period ? such that a time period during which the voltage v between the AC terminals becomes a zero voltage is the shortest.
