Abstract: The present application describes systems and methods for filtering of malicious radio frequency (RF)-based data. A computing device includes a baseband filter configured to filter RF-based data. The baseband filter is configured to inspect information provided by the baseband processor before providing the information to other portions of the computing device, such as an application processor. In some examples, the baseband filter inspects a command and an operand in received RF-based data to determine the validity of the command and the operand. In some examples, if the RF-based data includes a read command to read a portion of memory, the baseband filter determines if the portion of memory is allowed to be read by (provided to) the baseband processor.

  • Publication number: 20250184742
Abstract: Examples of the present disclosure describe systems and methods for preventing unauthorized Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card swapping by implementing proximity-based SIM card subscriber authentication. In examples, when a communications service provider receives a request to move a subscriber phone number to a new SIM card, the new SIM card is activated in a locked state. In the locked state, certain features (e.g., receiving calls and text messages/texts) are disabled until the subscriber's identity is confirmed using proximity-based authentication. In examples, proximity-based SIM card subscriber authentication is performed using a token provided by a physical authentication device within proximity to a subscriber mobile device including the new SIM card. Upon successful proximity-based SIM card subscriber authentication, the new SIM card is activated in an unlocked state.

  • Publication number: 20250184374
Abstract: A computing device of a user that has been invited to participate in a scheduled teleconferencing session may obtain information associated with the teleconferencing session, such as a meeting identifier and/or one or more user identifiers associated with other invitees of the teleconferencing session. The computing device may determine that a cloud-based teleconferencing service associated with the teleconferencing session is unavailable. In response to determining that the cloud-based teleconferencing service is unavailable, the computing device may retrieve internet protocol (IP) addresses of other computing devices (corresponding to other invitees) from a domain name service (DNS) based on the meeting identifier and/or the one or more user identifiers. The computing device may then initiate peer-to-peer connections with the other computing devices using the received IP addresses and participate in the teleconferencing session via the peer-to-peer connections.

  • Patent number: 12323303
Abstract: In examples, a first Anycast advertisement is received from a first server identifying the first server as a primary address for a service. In addition, a second Anycast advertisement is received from the first server identifying the first server as a secondary address for the service. Further, a third Anycast advertisement is received from a second server identifying the second server as the secondary address for the service. A first community advertisement is also from the first server identifying the first server as a member of a first community. Thereafter, a first request is received from a client including the primary address, and the request is routed to the first server. When a second request from the client is received including the secondary address, based at least on the community advertisement, the first server is ignored, and the second request is routed to the second server.

  • Publication number: 20250173212
Abstract: Systems and methods for verifying content delivery in a content delivery network (CDN) are described. Content retrieval and routing in a CDN are tested using multiple test sequences that are each assigned to a different value of a parameter P and are generated using the assigned value of P. A client device can verify whether a test sequence received at the client device matches a test sequence requested by the client device (e.g., the correct content was) and verify that the received test sequence is assigned to the same value of P as the requested test sequence. The value of P assigned to the received test sequence can be extracted, by the client device, from the received test sequence to determine which test sequence was actually received, thereby providing information that can be used to help debug content delivery errors.
