  • Patent number: 11625081
Abstract: Centralized profile-based operational monitoring and control of remote computing devices. A controller device receives, from a first customer-premises device (CPD) associated with a first local area network, at a first time a first temperature value that quantifies a temperature of the first CPD, the first CPD having a plurality of different energy consumption operating modes. The controller device, based on an attribute of the first CPD, accesses a first CPD profile of a plurality of different CPD profiles to determine a preferred CPD temperature range. The controller device determines that the first temperature value is outside of the preferred CPD temperature range, and sends an instruction that instructs the first CPD to transition from a current energy consumption operating mode to a first reduced energy consumption operating mode based at least in part on the first temperature value.

  • Patent number: 11627544
Abstract: Devices including a wireless receiver, e.g., indoor CBSDs, in a local network, e.g. a campus network, monitor for wireless signals conveying synchronization information. Different devices in the local area network may detect wireless signals conveying synchronization information from one or more different sources. A device detecting a source of synchronization information generates and sends a timing signal accuracy report to a switch, e.g. an intelligent IDF switch, included in the local network. The switch receives multiple timing signal accuracy reports, selects a “best” sync source and designates the particular device, e.g., particular CBSD, which reported the best sync source, to be the current master timing device for the local network. The switch communicates the address, e.g., IP address, of the selected master to the devices within the local network.

  • Patent number: 11623639
Abstract: A controlled intersection employs video analytics to identify incoming vehicles coupled with autonomous driving capabilities in the vehicle to selectively provide intervention for collision avoidance. A camera image of an approaching vehicle is used to identify a range and speed, and to compute whether intervention is appropriate based on a detected distance and speed from the intersection. A vehicle approaching a stop signal (e.g. “red light”) at an unsafe rate of speed triggers an invocation of on-board autonomous systems in the vehicle that provide appropriate warnings and ultimately, forced braking if warnings go unheeded. A registration system maintains a local grouping of vehicles in proximity to an intersection for minimizing latency in vehicle identification for commencing intervention. In this manner, on-board vehicle collision avoidance systems collaborate with complementary traffic control logic at a controlled intersection for preventing inadvertent or intentional disregard of a red signal.
