Abstract: A low-ohmic chip resistor with high conductivity is fabricated. The chip resistor has an electrode of a base metal or base-metal alloy. The base-metal or base-metal-alloy electrode and a resistor layer are fabricated through thick-film printing with sintering at a low temperature in the air. Therein, a thick-film paste made of a cheap low-reduction-potential metal (such as aluminum (Al) or nickel (Ni)) is formed through screen-printing and sintering. Then, the layer of the cheap low-reduction-potential metal is used as a sacrificial layer to be immersed in a metal solution having a high reduction potential. Therein, a wet chemical alternation reaction is processed for obtaining a metal electrode having the high reduction potential. Or, the sacrificial layer may be immersed in a mixed solution of several different metal having high reduction potential to process wet chemical alternation reaction for obtaining an alloy of metal mixed with different composition.
Abstract: A double nut ball screw capable of sensing preload includes a screw rod, two nuts, a connection key, multiple balls, a deformable annular platform having a U-shaped cross section with a bottom wall portion and two sidewall portions integrally connected with two opposite lateral sides of the bottom wall portion, and an annular force sensor mounted on the bottom wall portion of the deformable annular platform and located between the two sidewall portions. The deformable annular platform has a protruded portion located at the outer surface of the bottom wall portion opposite to the force sensor, and is disposed in the gap between the two nuts and wedged between two mating surfaces of the two nuts with the distal ends of the sidewall portions abutted against the mating surface of one nut and the protruded portion abutted against the mating surface of the other nut.
Abstract: A piezoelectric energy harvesting apparatus includes a housing and a piezoelectric module disposed in the housing. The piezoelectric module includes a piezoelectric wafer unit and a clamp unit clamping the piezoelectric wafer unit. A resilient member is connected between the clamp unit and an inner wall of the housing to transmit an oscillation movement to the clamp unit, which in turn causes oscillation of the piezoelectric wafer unit for generating an electric power. An impact unit extends movably into the housing and is capable of pushing the clamp unit against the resilient member when being subjected to an ambient natural force such that the resilient member generates the oscillation movement.

Abstract: Provided are ejaculum of animals as medicinal materials and uses thereof in manufacture of medicaments for treatment of various tumors, depression, senile dementia, and dermatosis. Said tumors include ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, breast cancer, esophageal cancer, stomach cancer, colon cancer, lung cancer, osteocarcinama, etc. The present medicinal material, alone or in combination with additional agents, is similar to cyclophosphamide in antineoplastic effects, which is accepted presently the most potent chemotherapeutic agent. It can inhibit the growth of tumors, not destroying the normal immune system of human. The present medicinal material of ejaculum is powdery crystal prepared by vacuum lyophilization from fresh ejaculum of animals, and it is suitable to a variety of dosage forms such as capsule or oral solution.
Abstract: A method is provided to make a nano-silver paste. An organic acid is used as a protective agent. Silver nitrate is used as a source of silver ions to reduce silver nanoparticles on a surface protected by the organic acid. The particle size of the silver nanoparticle is 45 nanometers. In the other hand, a silver precursor of organic metal is synthesized. The organic metal is cracked at 200 celsius degrees (° C.) to fill pores left during sintering. After mixing the silver nanoparticle, the silver precursor and the solvent, the nano-silver paste is obtained. After being heated at 250° C. for 30 minutes, the nano-silver paste has a resistance of (3.09±0.61)×10?5 ?·cm. By being heated at 250° C. and applied with a pressure of 10 MPa to be hot-pressed for 30 minutes for joining copper to copper, the nano-silver paste obtains a bonding strength reaching 36 MPa.

Abstract: A water spray nozzle comprises a switching rod that has a direction switching piece disposed at the end of a water outlet compartment and a preset quantity of slant protruded portions disposed around the direction switching piece. The nozzle also has a switching disk disposed on a bottom of the water outlet compartment around the switching rod between a guiding piece and the direction switching piece. Switching ribs having a preset quantity of slant switching protruded portions is disposed outside a switching hole near the direction switching piece for meshing with the slant protruded portions, and a plurality of switching water holes is disposed around a circumference of the switching disk. Switching water holes are disposed in a same radial direction so that they are selectively superimposed with specific water outlet holes.
Abstract: A cancerous lesion identifying method via hyper-spectral imaging technique comprises steps of: acquiring a plurality of first pathology images via an endoscopy, wherein the first pathology images are cancerous lesion images respectively; importing the first pathology images into an image processing module to acquire a plurality of first simulating spectra of the first pathology images so as to generate a principle component score diagram in accordance with the first simulating spectra; defining a plurality of triangle areas in the principle component score diagram in accordance with the first simulating spectra; determining whether a principle component score of a second simulating spectrum of a second pathology image is within any one of the triangle areas; and confirming the second pathology image belongs to one of the cancerous lesion images when the principle component score of the second simulating spectrum is within any one of the triangle areas.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is novel double-stranded short interfering ribonucleic acid (siRNA) capable of suppressing the translation of Aurora-A mRNA. Also disclosed are use of the novel siRNA as disclosed herein for manufacturing a medicament suitable for treating a cancer, which is mediated through epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) signaling. Accordingly, a pharmaceutical composition comprising the disclosed novel siRNA molecules is provided; as well as a method of treating a subject suffering from EGFR-mediated cancer via administering to the subject the disclosed novel siRNA molecule.
Abstract: A distortion compensation method for a class-D audio amplifier has the steps of connecting a compensation circuit to the class-D audio amplifier; providing a feed-forward signal from the compensation circuit to the loop filter, wherein the feed-forward signal contains replicate high-frequency components replicated from original high-frequency components of the class-D audio amplifier; and adding the feed-forward signal to those of the class-D audio amplifier. By adding the feed-forward signal, PWM-intermodulated distortion resulted from the high-frequency components is reduced. The class-D audio amplifier still maintains loop stability without affecting its phase margin.

Abstract: A method and an apparatus for buffering and obtaining resources as well as a resource buffering system are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining an access popularity value of a resource from a database at intervals of a first preset time, and obtaining load values of cache servers from the database if determining that the access popularity value reaches a preset first threshold; and determining a duplication cache server for duplicating the resource according to the access popularity value and the load values, and notifying the duplication cache server to duplicate the resource from a cache server that stores the resource and buffer the resource. The method overcome the problems in the prior art, namely, the same resource is buffered in only one cache server and the relatively idle cache servers are unable to share loads with busy cache servers. The method improves extensibility and working efficiency of the buffering system.

Abstract: An electronic device having a scratchpad memory and a management method are provided. A recording circuit records multiple counter values which correspond to entries in a Translation Lookaside Buffer (TLB). A virtual address is matched with a first entry. If a cache miss occurs, the recording circuit updates a first counter value corresponding to the first entry, and determines if the first counter value meets a threshold criterion. If the first counter value meets the threshold criterion, the recording circuit transmits an interrupts signal to a processing unit, and the processing unit moves data into the scratchpad memory. If the first counter value does not meet the threshold criterion, the data is moved into a cache.
