    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating housing, a plurality of first terminals each having a first elastic portion, a plurality of second terminals each having a second elastic portion, and a shielding shell enclosing the insulating housing. The insulating housing has a top wall, a bottom wall, a rear wall and two side walls which together surround an inserting chamber thereamong. The top wall and the bottom wall respectively define a plurality of first terminal grooves and second terminal grooves which are opened symmetrically about the inserting chamber and communicate with the inserting chamber. The first and second terminals are respectively inserted frontward in the first and second terminal grooves with the first elastic portions and the second elastic portions face-to-face projecting into the inserting chamber and being symmetrical in structure and arrangement about the inserting chamber.

    Abstract: A flexible photo-anode of dye-sensitized solar cell and a manufacturing method thereof are provided. The method includes steps of: coating zinc oxide nanoparticles on a flexible substrate to form a seed layer; immersing the flexible substrate into a first reaction solution; heating the seed layer to form a zinc oxide nanowire array; cooling the flexible substrate to the room temperature, immersing it into the second reaction solution, and stirring the second reaction solution, so that the zinc oxide nanowire array forms a cactus-like structure. Thus, the sintering and embossing processes can be prevented.

    Abstract: An electrical connector includes an insulating body defining a mating face, and a plurality of terminals each having a base strip which is embedded in the insulating body. A front end of the base strip is bent towards the mating face to form a bend. A free end of the bend extends in a direction substantially parallel to the mating face to form a connecting arm. The connecting arm perpendicularly protrudes towards the mating face to form a contact arm. The bend, the connecting arm and the contact arm are embedded in the insulating body. A face of the contact arm opposite to the connecting arm is defined as a contact face exposed outside the mating face. It is smooth at the connection of the bend and the connecting arm, and there is a step between the contact face of the contact arm and the bend.

    Abstract: A fixed-outline floorplanning approach for mixed-size modules is disclosed. Firstly, evenly distribute mixed-size circuit modules to whole chip area based on different requirements such as wire-length, routability, or thermal in the global distribution stage. To maintain the global distribution result and satisfy the fixed-outline constraint, generate a slicing tree by recursively applying partition algorithm to divide modules distributed in a given region into several sub-regions. Then, to remove overlap between circuit modules and find a best solution, use bottom-up shape curve merging and top-down back tracing procedure to generate a slicing tree. The shape curve for each leaf in the tree is built first by enumerated packing. Then, the curves in the tree are merged iteratively from bottom to top, and feasible solutions in the shape curve of the root node are identified according to the fixed-outline constraint. Finally, the best solution is determined by a top-down back tracing procedure.

At first, an Er3+-doped gain medium is pumped and Q-switched at the wavelength region from 1.58 ?m to 1.62 ?m, so that a Q-switched pulse is formed from the Er3+-doped gain medium. The Q-switched pulse results in an instant positive population inversion between the levels 4I11/2 and 4I13/2 of the Er3+-doped gain medium, followed by a gain-switched laser pulse at the wavelength region from 2.5 ?m to 3.0 ?m.

    Abstract: A monitoring method with a function of correlation-based system identification applicable for a digitally controlled DC-DC converter system is revealed. The monitoring method includes a plurality of steps. After the system is operated in a steady state, input a pseudo random binary sequence signal into the system via a pseudo random binary sequence generator and store the pseudo random binary sequence signal and an output signal of a path to be monitored in a memory unit. Then perform a correlation analysis of data stored in the memory unit by a correlation analysis module and output an impulse response. Next obtain a frequency response of the impulse response by a discrete-time Fourier transform module. Finally, smooth the frequency response by an adaptive sliding window smoothing module so that a monitoring curve of the frequency response becomes smooth.
