Abstract: A method for obtaining the binding kinetic rate constants using fiber optic particle plasmon resonance (FOPPR) sensor, suitable for a test solution with two or more concentrations, which employs the following major steps: providing one FOPPR sensor instrument system, obtaining optical time-resolved signal intensities starting at the initial time to the steady state of the two or more regions, substituting the measured signal intensity values into the formula which is derived by using the pseudo-first order rate equation model. In addition, this method measures the temporal signal intensity evolution under static conditions as the samples are quickly loaded. As a result, unlike the conventional device where the sample is continuously infused, the method is able to measure the association and dissociation rate constants of which the upper bounds are not limited by the sample flow rate.

Abstract: The present invention provides graphene nuclei including monolayer single-crystalline graphene nuclei and a method of growing from them two-dimensional graphene dendrites, with aspect ratio of the main branches increasing with growth time, on catalytic metal surface using thermal chemical vapor deposition. By controlling the supply rates of the carbon etching gas and the carbon deposition species, it results in graphene branches being merged to form a two-dimensional monolayer single-crystalline graphene plate and further allows multiple graphene plates to merge and form a large-area continuous monolayer graphene plate.
Abstract: A discontinuous conduction current mode maximum power limitation photovoltaic converter connects to a ground and a solar cell having a temperature compensation signal and an output power and being solarized and includes a direct current/direct current voltage converter and a maximum power control circuit. The direct current/direct current voltage converter connects to the solar cell, includes an input terminal and an output terminal, offers a stable voltage and has an output voltage signal and an inner current. The maximum power control circuit connects to the direct current/direct current voltage converter and the solar cell, controls the direct current/direct current voltage converter to limit the output power of the solar cell to maximum and includes a temperature compensation feedback circuit, an output voltage feedback circuit, a current detection circuit and a main control circuit.
Abstract: A light source system for detecting oral cavity has an illumination module and a filter module. A spectral range of light is illuminated from the illumination module and filtered through the filter module. When light of such spectral range is irradiated onto a diagnostic area, high chromatic difference and contrast existing between areas with pathological change and normal areas is employed to enhance correctness of diagnoses and operations.

Abstract: An LED package with an extended top electrode and an extended bottom electrode is made from a single metal sheet, one manufacturing process embodiment includes: preparing a piece of single metal sheet, forming a first metal and a coplanar second metal, mounting an LED on an inner end of the first metal, wire-bonding top electrode to an inner end of the second metal, encapsulating at least the LED and the bonding wire with a protection glue, bending an outer end of the first metal upward twice 90 degrees to form a top flat as an extended top electrode of the package, and bending an outer end of the second metal downward twice 90 degrees to form a bottom flat as an extended bottom electrode of the package.
Abstract: The present invention provides a programmable low dropout linear regulator using a reference voltage to convert an input voltage into a regulated voltage according to a control signal. The programmable low dropout linear regulator includes an operational amplifier having a negative input coupled to receive the reference voltage, a first transistor having a gate coupled to an output terminal of the operational amplifier and a first source/drain coupled to an output terminal of the regulated voltage, a first impedance coupled between a positive input of the operational amplifier and the output terminal of the regulated voltage, and a second impedance coupled between the positive input of the operational amplifier and a ground. The second impedance includes a second transistor having a gate coupled to receive the control signal.
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method for enhancing hardness of a nanoimprint mold comprising following steps of: providing a male mold, composed of a first material, for imprinting a female mold and producing a nano structural pattern on the female mold, and the female mold composed of a second material, wherein the hardness of the first material is higher than the hardness of the second material; applying a nano-indentation technique to the female mold onto the female mold by a nano-indentation apparatus having a diamond array probe so as to enhance the surface hardness of the female mold; and impressing a substrate by the female mold with the nano structural pattern having the enhanced surface.
Abstract: A method for preparing a metal-nanotube composite catalyst for an electro-chemical oxygen reduction reaction includes: debundling carbon nanotubes (CNTs); loading a carbon-containing polymeric material onto the surfaces of the nanotubes that have been debundled; carbonizing in situ the carbon-containing polymeric material on the carbon nanotubes to form carbon char layers surrounding the surfaces of the carbon nanotubes; and loading metal catalyst particles on the carbon nanotubes. The carbon char layers contain high amount of nitrogen and may be formed into a porous structure.
Abstract: A Universal Serial Bus connector includes an insulating housing which has a base body, a first tongue and a second tongue extending forward from a lower portion and a bottom of the base body, a plurality of first terminals disposed in the first tongue and each having a contact slice, a plurality of second terminals disposed in the second tongue and each having an elastic arm electrically contacting with the corresponding contact slice, and a shell mounted rearward to the base body with the first tongue being located in the shell and the second tongue resisting under the shell. Abstract: An injection mold for molding a first insert element and a second insert element includes a male mold, a female mold matched with the male mold, and at least one fastening assembly. The first insert element includes a first material belt with at least one fastening hole formed therein, and a plurality of first conductive terminals. The second insert element includes a plurality of second conductive terminals. The male mold defines a male cavity for receiving the second conductive terminals therein. The female mold defines a female cavity for receiving the first conductive terminals therein. The fastening assembly includes a fastening element and a magnetic element with a center hole formed therein. The magnetic element is held in the female mold. A top of the fastening element passes through the fastening hole to be inserted in the center hole and attracted by the magnetic element.
Abstract: An electrical connector adapted for being soldered to a circuit board includes an insulating housing, a shielding shell enclosing the insulating housing, a first terminal pack and a second terminal pack. The first terminal pack includes a first main body, and a plurality of first terminals molded to the first main body. The second terminal pack includes a second main body, and a plurality of second terminals molded to the second main body. The first terminal pack is engaged with the second terminal pack with first soldering portions of the first terminals and second soldering portions of the second terminals being alternately aligned in line to make all of the soldering portions show a single-row arrangement for being soldered with the circuit board. The first and second terminal packs are assembled to the insulating housing together with the shielding shell.
Abstract: The present invention provides a transistor and method for making the same. The transistor has an yttrium-doped indium oxide transparent conductive thin-film which is so fabricated with the method to reduce the formation of oxygen vacancies, suppress carrier concentration effectively, and decrease maximum defect density and thus suitable to be applied to the transistor.

Abstract: A baseline predictive maintenance method for a target device (TD) and a computer program product thereof are provided. Fresh samples which are generated when the target device produces workpieces just after maintenance are collected, and a new workpiece sample which is generated when the target device produces a new workpiece is collected. A plurality of modeling samples are used to build a TD baseline model in accordance with a conjecturing algorithm, wherein the modeling samples include the new workpiece sample and the fresh samples. A TD healthy baseline value for the new workpiece is computed by the TD baseline model, and a device health index (DHI), a baseline error index (BEI) and baseline individual similarity indices (ISIB) are computed, thereby achieving the goals of fault detection and classification (FDC) and predictive maintenance (PdM).

Abstract: The invention provides a method for rapidly detecting a pathogen in animals or plants comprising using a specific primer set and nucleic acid in a sample to carry on a loop-mediated isothermal amplification. If at least one amplification occurs, the sample comprises the pathogen. The invention also provides a primer set, probe and kit for detecting a pathogen in animals or plants.
