  • Patent number: 5778921
Abstract: A relay controlling valve structure for twin-tap faucet, including a valve seat, a valve stem and a pushing block. The valve seat is a hollow sleeve-like member made of plastic material and formed with outer thread on upper portion. A water-sealing ring is disposed around a middle portion of the valve seat. An annular groove is formed between the water-sealing ring and the lower end of the valve seat. Two opposite water inlets are formed on the wall of the upper portion of the annular groove. A hexagonal socket is formed at upper end of the valve seat. A stem hole is formed below the hexagonal socket. The upper portion of the stem hole has s conic face and the lower portion of the stem hole is enlarged. Several stopper ribs are disposed on the wall of the enlarged lower portion at intervals. Each stopper rib has a shorter guiding rib extending toward the center for guiding the valve stem to linearly move up and down. The lower end of the enlarged lower portion is further enlarged into a conic shape.

  • Patent number: 5769114
Abstract: An improved control valve for use in a mixing valve has a valve mount, a spindle assembly and a water restraining plate having two outlets. The spindle assembly has a spindle rod and a two staged valve body having a chamber at the lower portion thereof. In the chamber are a plurality of cylindrical posts, including four long posts and other short posts that are arranged in order. The cylindrical posts are used to reduce the noise of turbulent flow passing through the valve body and the four long posts support the water restraining plate in place and stop a spring biased sealing pad from dropping into chamber via the outlets. Thus, the spindle rod of the spindle assembly can be rotated more smoothly and the noise produced in operation can be minimized.

  • Patent number: 5743286
Abstract: A reverse flow proof control valve having a valve shaft, a valve sleeve and a driving block is intended to effectively prevent dirty water or chemicals produced in a fire fighting process from reversely flowing into a household water system via a shower device dropped in a sink, in a tub or on the ground in a fire accident. The valve sleeve is provided with a number of spaced retaining ribs so as to limit the valve shaft to move in a steady and linear manner in operation. A number of spaced supporting rods, forming a frame-like open structure, extend from the bottom of the valve sleeve and terminate with a hoop member. The valve shaft is provided with an additional flanged portion with a engagement journal defined thereunder and a flat cone-shaped driving block is engaged with the bottom end thereof.

  • Patent number: 5713391
Abstract: A water temperature setting structure of combination faucet, including a temperature setting sleeve and an adjustment bolt. The temperature of discharged water can be quickly directly set by the temperature setting sleeve and the adjustment bolt. In the case that the setting is not completed yet, a user only needs to microadjust the adjustment bolt through a small distance so as to quickly set the temperature of discharged water. Once the adjustment bolt is loosened, the temperature setting projection is only moved forward through a small distance and stopped by the right side of the engaging block so that the water temperature will be not excessively increased so as to avoid scading of the user.

  • Patent number: 5662276
Abstract: A check assembly of a sprinkling head for a kitchen cabinet. The sprinkling head is a hollow L-shaped tube member having a sprinkling opening. A controlling depression grip is connected to a bight section of the sprinkling head. A controlling valve stem is disposed in the sprinkling head. An upper end of the valve stem protrudes out of the bight section and two watertight washers are fitted around the valve stem to abut against peripheral wall of a water outlet formed in the sprinkling head. A lower end of the valve stem is fitted with a conic spring and check assembly and an end of the sprinkling head is connected with a water hose. By means of depressing the depression grip, the controlling valve stem is lifted or lowered to control the sprinkling of the water flow from the sprinkling opening. The check assembly includes a check valve seat, a plastic pin member fitted in the valve seat, a rubber-made soft conic check pad fitted around the pin member and a water inlet seat fitted with the valve seat.

  • Patent number: 5516155
Abstract: A water pipe connecting structure composed of a hexagonal locking nut, a coupling pipe, a connecting pipe, a metal fastening sleeve and a conic watertight washer. The locking nut has an inner flange at one end. The coupling pipe is divided by an expansion neck portion into an upper head portion and a lower binding portion formed with several slideproof check rings. The coupling pipe is fitted into the locking nut with the expansion neck abutting against the inner flange of the locking nut and with the binding portion extending through the inner flange to insert into the fastening sleeve fitted with one end of the connecting pipe. The fastening sleeve receiving the binding portion is rolled and pressed so as to bind therewith. An outer flange is formed at a top end of the head portion of the coupling pipe. The outer flange has an inclined outer periphery for engaging with the washer and preventing the same from dropping out.
