    Abstract: A rotational extrusion molding die and a slender metal workpiece made with same are introduced. The rotational extrusion molding die includes a female mold device, a male mold device, and a rotation driving device. The female mold device is symmetric about an axis to define a cavity corresponding in shape to the slender metal workpiece. The male mold device is movable controllably along the axis relative to the female mold device, allowing the metal blank to pass through the cavity and thereby turn into the slender metal workpiece. The rotation driving device drives the female mold device to rotate about the axis relative to the male mold device. The slender metal workpiece thus manufactured has continuous metal flow lines which extend continually along the axis and along an arc defined by the axis, thereby improving the slender metal workpiece in mechanical properties, mechanical strength, and damping capacity.

The photographing module establish a space coordinate system relative to the object and comprises a first photographer and a second photographer which respectively photograph a first non-deformed laser speckle image on a first surface and a second non-deformed laser speckle image on a second surface, the first surface differs from the second surface by an azimuth. The comparison module respectively compares the first non-deformed laser speckle image before and after the displacement with the second non-deformed laser speckle image to calculate a displacement value between the two surfaces. The compensation module controls the movement of the object according to the displacement value. The error compensation utilizes the displacement of the non-deformed laser speckle image to obtain the absolute error of the object and compensate the error.

    Abstract: A method for extracting features of a thermal image is provided. The method includes: reading a thermal image, and dividing the thermal image into a plurality of block images; and extracting a histogram of oriented gradient (HOG) feature histogram from each of the plurality of block images, and transforming the HOG feature histogram of each of the plurality of block images into a symmetric weighting HOG (SW-HOG) feature histogram. The SW-HOG feature histogram is obtained by multiplying a histogram of gradient intensity distribution by a block weighting. The method increases weightings of blocks which cover human contours and reduces weightings of blocks of an internal region of a human appearance through analyzing thermal lightness difference of regions within blocks, to reduce the influence of clothes in the internal region and the influence of the background region.
