Abstract: Compounds possessing both a hindered amine moiety, such as a derivative of 2,2,6,6-tetramethylpiperidine, and a hydroxylamine moiety where the N-hydroxy group is not attached to a nitrogen atom in a piperidine ring are valuable stabilizers for protecting polymer compositions against the deleterious effects of actinic light and from the adverse effects of high temperature polymer processing environments.

Abstract: Method and apparatus for potting components in an impregnating composition which does not set at room temperature, but which sets at elevated temperatures in a short time. A one-component composition is used. The potting chamber optionally consists of a forechamber, a main chamber and an exit chamber. The potting chamber is followed by a tunnel oven which itself consists of an airlock entry chamber, a main chamber and an airlock exit chamber.
Abstract: There is disclosed an aqueous formulation comprising(a) a bleach stabilising component,(b) a salt of an organic carboxylic acid and(c) a preservative.The novel formulation is suitable for use as bleaching liquor for cellulosic fibre materials and is distinguished by a superior stabilising action, a very good capacity for binding heavy metal ions, a good inhibition of crystallisation, and the treated fibre materials have very good rewettability. A significant advantage of the novel formulation is its good biodegradability.
