Abstract: A comb attachment for a hair clipper includes a base having a depression adjacent a back edge of the attachment and a flexible clip extending outwardly from the back edge. The depression locates a user's finger or thumb when pressing the base until the clip flexes around the edge of the blade. The comb attachment is removed by pulling the clip back around the blade. The flexible clip can be a cantilever having two spaced arch-shaped arms extending from the base and secured to each other at their cantilevered ends by a cross-member. The bottom surface of the cross-member can be angled to facilitate release of the clip and removal of the attachment.

Abstract: A display apparatus is provided for displaying a sample product with a display shelf. Included in the display apparatus is an upper housing member having an upper surface and a socket disposed on the upper surface. The socket is configured for accommodating an insertion of the sample product for loosely supporting the sample product during display. A lower housing member is attached to the upper housing member, and has a tethering device configured for connecting the sample product to the display apparatus under the action of a windup reel. The upper housing member includes a mounting block configured for being removably mountable under the display shelf and attachable on and depending from a front edge of the display shelf, such that the sample product inserted into the socket is accessible by a customer.
Abstract: A hair clipper has a vacuum system for collecting hair debris created by the cutting blades. Air flow through an adjustable air inlet is divided into multiple paths, including at least one primary flow path and at least one separate secondary flow path. A debris trap intersects both the primary air flow path and the secondary air flow path. The primary flow path allows air flow through a first path to be higher than a secondary air flow through the second path before debris accumulates in the debris trap. The primary air flow decreases as debris accumulates in the primary air flow path and the secondary air flow approaches and perhaps exceeds the primary air flow, whereupon some debris accumulates in the secondary air flow path as air is diverted through the secondary air flow path.
Abstract: A hair clipper bladeset is provided, including a stationary blade having a front edge having a plurality of stationary teeth, and a moving blade including a moving front edge having a plurality of moving teeth disposed such that the moving blade teeth laterally reciprocate relative to the stationary blade teeth to form a cutting edge. A cam follower is disposed upon an upper surface of the moving blade and includes at least one cam follower formation constructed and arranged for guiding the moving blade in reciprocation. A blade guide is located between the moving blade and the stationary blade, having at least one complementary blade guide formation configured for accommodating a corresponding said at least one cam follower formation for creating multiple contact points constructed and arranged for maintaining alignment of the blades at the cutting edge.
