Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for detecting foreign material for wireless charging, and according to one embodiment of the present invention, a method by which a wireless power transmitter detects foreign material comprises the steps of: measuring the strength of a current inputted into an inverter in a ping step; receiving a packet including a receiver type identifier; determining a threshold value for detecting the foreign material corresponding to the receiver type identifier; and comparing the measured strength of current with the threshold value so as to determine whether the foreign material is present.
Abstract: A laser lap welding method is provided. The laser lap welding method includes linearly scanning one side surface of overlapped plural workpieces with a laser beam in a linear scanning range of from a welding start point of the one side surface to a welding end point thereof to weld the plural workpieces; controlling a power of the laser beam to gradually decrease until the laser beam reaches the welding end point when the laser beam reaches a laser power control point in the linear scanning range a predetermined time before the laser beam reaches the welding end point; and performing circular laser scanning using the laser beam around an axis extending in a depth direction of the plural workpieces through the welding end point after the laser beam reaches the welding end point to circularly melt and fluidize a portion of the plural workpieces around the welding end point.

Abstract: In a method of forming a gate-all-around field effect transistor, a gate structure is formed surrounding a channel portion of a carbon nanotube. An inner spacer is formed surrounding a source/drain extension portion of the carbon nanotube, which extends outward from the channel portion of the carbon nanotube. The inner spacer includes two dielectric layers that form interface dipole. The interface dipole introduces doping to the source/drain extension portion of the carbon nanotube.

Abstract: According to various embodiments, systems and methods are provided for use by an ADV to nudge incoming objects in a self-reverse lane. In an embodiment, an ADV determines that a self-reverse lane has a predetermined width before entering the self-reverse lane. After entering the self-reverse lane, the ADV can follow a first reference line at the center of the self-reverse lane. In response to detecting an incoming object, the ADV creates an alternative lane in the self-reverse lane by temporarily modifying a high definition map. The ADV subsequently follows a second reference line in the alternative lane to nudge the incoming object. In response to detecting that the incoming object has passed and the self-reverse lane is clear, the ADV can drive back to the center of the self-reverse lane, to continue to follow the first reference line in the self-reverse lane.

Abstract: This disclosure provides a cache replacing method applied to a heterogeneous multi-core system, the method including: determining whether a first application currently running is an application running on the GPU; when it is determined that the first application currently running is an application running on the GPU, determining a cache priority of first data accessed by the first application according to a performance parameter of the first application, the cache priority of the first data including a priority other than a predefined highest cache priority; and caching the first data into a cache queue of the shared cache according to a predetermined cache replacement algorithm and the cache priority of the first data, and replacing data in the cache queue.
