Publication number: 20130035834Abstract: An enhanced wheel data processing unit may analyze tire air temperature data from a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and antilock brake system (ABS) wheel speed sensor fault codes from an ABS controller within a vehicle. When the enhanced wheel data processing unit determines that the tire air temperature is above a predetermined threshold for a given tire and that an ABS wheel speed sensor fault code exists for the wheel end corresponding to the same tire, the enhanced wheel data processing unit may initiate a vehicle shutdown or derate procedure. The vehicle shutdown or derate procedure may include instructions to give an operator of the vehicle a warning indicator for a predetermined time period before shutting down or derating the engine power to the vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 30, 2012Publication date: February 7, 2013Applicant: Motor Coach Industries LimitedInventors: Bryan Couch, Daniel Edward Olson

Publication number: 20120049556Abstract: The present invention relates generally to an external condenser and light assembly and, more particularly, to an improved external air conditioning condenser and housing that is designed to additionally serve as a light assembly for an emergency vehicle. The condenser housing is mounted to the exterior of the emergency vehicle, which improves the performance of the emergency vehicle's air-conditioning system. The design of the condenser housing also allows it to serve as a light assembly on which emergency vehicle lights are mounted. The condenser housing and light assembly structure thereby provides for proper air conditioning functionality without occupying space on the exterior of the vehicle that would more preferably be occupied by emergency lighting.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2011Publication date: March 1, 2012Applicant: WHEELED COACH INDUSTRIES, INC.Inventors: Scott L. Patent number: 8052191Abstract: A hinged vapor wall for use in mobile living quarters having a main living area and a secondary area such as a garage. The vapor wall has a first and second section that overlap to form a barrier between the garage and the main living area. When the sections of the vapor wall are in their closed position, the main living area and the garage area are divided into separate airtight compartments. Typically, small vehicles such as motorcycles and ATVs are placed in the garage, and the fumes from their fuel may spread into the main living space in the absence of a barrier. A permanent barrier sacrifices space within the main living area. The hinged vapor wall of this invention is movable to an open position when small vehicles are not being stored in the garage, enabling the garage to be used as living space as well.Type: GrantFiled: July 21, 2009Date of Patent: November 8, 2011Assignee: Gulf Stream Coach, Inc.Inventor: Daniel G. Patent number: 7690719Abstract: A structural assembly such as for use in constructing a living space of a recreational vehicle includes a wall with vertical rails at the top and bottom. The rails fitting into complementary recess within floor and ceiling members. The bottom rail has a curved cross section and fits into a complementary shaped curved channel in a floor member such that to assemble the wall to the floor, the wall is rested on the floor member at an angle and is then tilted upright to lock it to the floor member. A first keeper is then placed into a gap between the wall and the floor member, and acts in compression to prevent rotation of the wall. A second keeper has portions that fit into recesses in the wall and the ceiling members, respectively. The second keeper acts in tension to prevent vertical separation of the wall and the ceiling.Type: GrantFiled: July 17, 2007Date of Patent: April 6, 2010Assignee: Monaco Coach CorporationInventors: Richard J. Publication number: 20090001764Abstract: A self propelled conveyance is disclosed having an extendable frame. A floor pan is attached to the inner perimeter of the extendable frame and a driver's seat is disposed on a front to back center line of the floor pan. A pair of front wheels are attached to the extendable frame. The front wheels extend beyond the outer perimeter of the frame. A rear wheel assembly is one or two individual wheels separated by a short distance. Like the front wheels, the rear wheel assemble extends beyond the outer perimeter of the frame. Passenger seats are disposed behind the driver seat and each of the passenger seats are offset from the center line of the conveyance. Because the wheels extend beyond the perimeter of the frame, they act as active collision shock absorbers in collisions.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 8, 2005Publication date: January 1, 2009Applicant: Cocky Coach LLCInventors: Reuben Hoppenstein, Robin D. Patent number: 7331875Abstract: A putter trainer device for detecting inaccuracies in a golf puffing stroke. The puffing trainer device of the present invention is releasably (2) attached to a shaft of a golf putter and comprises two guided ramps (19A, 19B) with each ramp having an active position and a neutral position. In one embodiment, a free rolling disc magnet (20A, 20B) is located upon each guided ramp and each free rolling disc magnet is biased towards the neutral position (23A, 23B) on its respective ramp. The movement of either free rolling magnet from the neutral position to the active position is detected by magnetic reed switches (25A, 25B) located adjacent each ramp. A speaker is activated when the magnetic reed switches detect that either free rolling magnet has moved from the neutral position to the active position.Type: GrantFiled: October 3, 2003Date of Patent: February 19, 2008Assignee: Audio Coach Pty Ltd.Inventor: Robyn Ann Sherman
