Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods may provide for robust and autonomous provisioning of routing nodes and/or server stacks within a network. For instance, each routing node and/or server stack may perform self-discovery (e.g., determines its own identity and where it has been placed in the network), and determine its role (e.g., how to route packets) within the network.
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A base station may transmit parameters for a configured grant and a dynamic grant. The parameters may indicate numbers of transmissions of transport blocks within a bundle of a configured grant and within a bundle of a dynamic grant. A wireless device may transmit a first transport block, within a bundle of a configured grant, a first number of times. The wireless device may transmit a second transport block, within a bundle of a dynamic grant, a second number of times.
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for improving content classifications and metadata for a plurality of content items. The content items may comprise various forms of media content. A content recommendation processing system may automatically annotate and/or classify content items with a plurality of metadata tag information describing content items. The disclosed system and methods may also determine and/or assign applicability scores indicating a level or degree of suitability for annotating a content item with particular metadata tag information, and may utilize applicability scores to provide content to calibrate metadata information for a plurality of content items, and further to provide content recommendations to users.
Abstract: Wireless communications using multiple active resources (e.g., bandwidth parts (BWP)) are described. A predetermined rule may be used to determine on which downlink (DL) BWP of multiple active DL BWPs, and/or on which uplink (UL) BWP of multiple active UL BWPs, a message is to be sent. A wireless device and/or a base station may reduce the quantity of active DL BWPs and/or active UL BWPs to monitor for a response.
Abstract: Future data connection quality may be predicted based on past data connection quality, and future requests for data may be predicted based on past requests. These predictions may be used to help decide whether, when, and/or how to deliver the data in a proactive manner. For example, according to some aspects described herein, a future data connection quality may be predicted based at least on historical data connection quality. It may be determined whether to pre-deliver at least a first portion of an item of content based at least on the predicted future data connection quality. If so, then the at least the portion of the item of content may be pre-delivered to the device and/or to another destination.
Abstract: Playback devices may receive video content and an age of a playlist associated with the video content. A playback device may use the age of the playlist to schedule output of video fragments of the video content. The playback device may adjust the output of the video content until an actual output time of a video fragment is substantially the same as the scheduled output time for the video fragment.
Abstract: Wireless communications for paging assistance are described. Paging assistance information may comprise one or more beam parameters to provide beam-based paging for a wireless device. One or more devices may use beam-based paging to reduce usage of wireless resources.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for improving caller identification in telecommunications services based on general-purpose networks are described. A gateway device may process invitation messages sent from a telephone via a private branch exchange, in which the private branch exchange has replaced the number of the telephone with a customized number. The gateway device may determine that the customized number is mapped to an account-related number, and insert that number into a field of the invitation messages that is examined by a telecommunications provider and associated trunking services for account-related purposes.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing a network are disclosed. In certain systems and methods, access to a network such as a wireless network, can be granted or denied based upon a threshold number of devices accessing the network. Moreover, access to a first service available over the network can be granted or denied based upon a threshold number of devices accessing the first service. Various network resource can be allocated to the first service based at least upon the number of device access the first service.
Abstract: An application installed on a user device (e.g., a mobile device, a smart device, a communication device, a computing device, etc.) may be used to validate, authenticate, and/or authorize another application installed on and/or associated with the user device.
Abstract: To conserve energy associated with bi-directional communications with network devices (e.g., access point, router, long-range (LoRa) access point, edge device, etc.), and to limit data/information processing resources associated with such bi-directional communications, a user device (e.g., a data collection device, an Internet of Things (IoT) device, an end device, a low-power device, a sensor, etc.) may determine its location (e.g., geolocation, etc.). The user device may use mapping information that identifies each network device within a geographical area to identify locations of network devices within a communication range of the user device. The user device may determine its own location based on the locations of the network devices within the communication range.
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for determining a direction associated with a detected spoken keyword, forming an acoustic beam in the determined direction, and listening for subsequent speech using the acoustic beam in the determined direction.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices relating to a wireless network device configured for adjustable positioning are described herein. In an example, a network device comprises a body and a bendable element configured to carry electrical power to the body and components therein. The body houses an antenna and transceiver configured for wireless communication. The bendable element, attached to the body of the network device, is configured for adjustable positioning such that a position of the bendable element is substantially maintained when the positioning force is removed. A facing of the antenna within the body may be based on the positioning of the bendable element.

Abstract: Methods are disclosed for receiving and processing video content to aid in a user's rest cycles, such as sleep and wake cycles. Video content may be received and processed to determine information related to a plurality of pixels to be displayed on a screen. Each of the plurality of pixels may have a corresponding color value. A time of day when the video content is to be displayed is determined, and compared to a current time of day. Based on the comparison or other data, a color value of one or more of the pixels can be adjusted or changed.
Abstract: Methods and systems are described for content synchronization. A computing device may receive video content and audio content. The computing device may determine an error associated with a video content output time or an audio content output time.
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed toward intelligently selecting the operating parameters of wireless access points (WAPs) deployed in a wireless environment so as to minimize or at least reduce interference in that wireless environment. A WAP continually measures the characteristics of the wireless channels used in the wireless environment and obtains measurements of channel metrics for those channels. The WAP stores the channel metric measurements as a channel metric history and analyzes the channel metric history to determine correlations between the channel metric measurements and various timeframes. The WAP selects one or more of its operating parameters based on the channel metric history and the correlations identified. Operating parameters include the radio frequency band and channel to transmit on.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for determining boundaries within a content asset. A server may collect user interaction data for one or more content assets. Using the user interaction data, the server may determine commercial breaks or scene changes for the content asset. The server may apply best fit curves to the user interaction data, and determine commercial breaks or scene changes based on the best fit curves.

Abstract: Methods and systems for intelligent use of off-peak bandwidth are disclosed. An example method can comprise receiving a request for content from a user device. The content server can transmit the content to the user device. Upon receiving a teardown command to suspend transmission of the content, after transmitting a first portion of the content to the user device, the content server can determine that playback of the content is likely to be resumed at a peak time. The content server can then pre-position a second portion of the content proximate to the user device prior to the peak time.
