Abstract: Described herein is a system and method for a microservices architecture for dynamic channel migration based on real time traffic load. Traffic loads on a first and second radio frequency (RF) channels used by a transceiver to communicate with a plurality of modem devices may be monitored, where the first RF channel is transmitted at a higher frequency than the second RF channel. Based on the monitored traffic loads of the RF channels, data traffic may be migrated from the first RF channel to the second RF channel. Finally, the plurality of modem devices may be notified of the migration.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for device routing management are disclosed. A client device of a wireless network may roam from a first access point to a second access point of the wireless network. The second access point, or the client device itself, may send a network message indicating the client device is currently being served by the second access point. The message may cause a network mapping stored at the first access point and/or at each device associated with the wireless network to be updated to indicate the client device is associated with the second access point, thereby enabling proper routing of network traffic to the client device via the second access point.

Abstract: A system and method to facilitating selecting or otherwise providing access to electronic content and services. Access to the content and services may be provided in such as a manner as to facilitate access to higher quality forms of the content. The higher quality forms of the content may be relate to any number of characteristics associated with displaying, transmitting, compressing, securing, and/or otherwise manipulating the content to more suitable forms relative to another form.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and computing devices are described herein for request and transmission, to a computing device, of media content based on the importance of a portion of the media content. Media content may comprise baseline media content and enhancement data. Based on determining that an importance of a portion of the media content meets a threshold, the computing device may retrieve the enhancement data. The computing device may retrieve the enhancement data via a separate interface than the baseline media content. Information about baseline media content, enhancement data, and the importance of a portion of the media content may be contained in a manifest. The threshold for importance may be based on the media content and/or user preferences.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for a power adapter. The power adapter may provide power to a computing device. The power adapter may comprise a wireless access point or other communication system. The computing device may be configured to access the wireless access point or other communications systems in the power adapter.

Abstract: Beam failure recovery (BFR) procedures for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may receive a scheduling request configuration for a first cell that indicates uplink resources dedicated to BFR of a second cell and/or uplink resources configured for scheduling requests. A beam failure for a second cell may occur at a time that the wireless device has no uplink resources dedicated to BFR. The wireless device may use (e.g., based on a type of data or resource) an uplink resource configured for scheduling requests to report the BFR.

Abstract: A data stream, such as a video stream, may comprise one or more event trigger messages indicating an upcoming event in the stream. The time (e.g., pre-roll time) between the event trigger message and its corresponding event may be modified, based on rules, to provide a network operator, service provider or downstream recipient more (or less) time to prepare for the event. This may be accomplished by moving the event trigger to an earlier (or later) location in the stream, and/or editing the event trigger to indicate the different pre-roll time.

Abstract: Methods and systems for accessing content are provided. A non-tunable device (e.g., a device without the capability to tune to a particular channel) can access a particular channel via a tunable device (e.g., a device with the capability to tune to the particular channel). A computing device can facilitate content tuning. In an aspect, the non-tunable device can transmit a request for content to the computing device. The request for content can comprise a title of the content, a type of content, channel information, and the like. Upon receiving the request for content, the computing device can determine the characteristics of the non-tunable device such as device type, device capabilities, location, and identify all the tunable devices capable of communicating with the non-tunable device. Entitlement information can be provided to the one or more tunable devices. The entitlement information can facilitate access to the requested content by the non-tunable device.

Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems are described for wireless communications. A transmission timing difference between a first cell group and a second cell group may be determined. If the transmission timing difference exceeds a threshold, one or more devices may stop transmitting uplink signals via one or more secondary cells and/or may not apply the timing adjustment for a cell group.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses are described for monitoring events in a plurality of different services. A system may monitor manifest files for one or more content items. Manifest files may contain manifest file tags indicating events and insertion opportunities. Events and/or insertion opportunities may be detected, and a switch from one content item to another content item, based on customized user priority preferences, may be caused.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for wireless communications. A base station may transmit downlink control information that may comprise an indication for an uplink beam management procedure or a downlink beam failure recovery procedure. A wireless device may receive the downlink control information and determine a type of procedure to perform based on the indication.

Abstract: The pre-configuration of a grant of a non-active bandwidth part (BWP) or other wireless resource may be beneficial to reduce signaling overhead. A base station may not need to transmit a DCI to activate a configured grant if the configured grant on a non-active BWP is activated based on switching an active BWP to a pre-configured BWP. If a configured grant on a non-active BWP is activated, a base station may not need to transmit a DCI on a new active BWP for a resource grant. A wireless device may receive a DCI indicating a switch an active BWP from a first BWP to a second BWP for a particular cell. The configured grants may be type 1 grant-free transmission that may not need activation signaling. The activation and/or deactivation of the one or more configured grants may depend on the state of the second BWP.

Abstract: Systems, methods, apparatuses, and computer readable media may be configured for establishing at least one session for delivery of multimedia. In an aspect, a first transmission of data fragments of a first component and a second transmission of data fragments of a second component may be transmitted and synchronized for presentation. If an inactivity event is detected the session may be maintained while reducing bandwidth consumption.

Abstract: Methods, systems, computer-readable media, and apparatuses for providing dynamic block control of multi-bitrate video are described. In some embodiments, a computing device may determine transcoder conditions of a transcoder independent of a client device. The computing device may dynamically adjust a block size of one or more blocks of a stream based on the transcoder conditions. In some embodiments, a computing device may receive a stream. The client device may package the stream into a first packaged stream having a first block size and a second packaged stream having a second block size less than the first block size. In some embodiments, a client device may determine an actual minimum number of blocks to buffer prior to initiating content playback based on a received predicted network and/or transcoder quality of service forecast. The client device may adjust its preset minimum number of blocks to the actual minimum number of blocks.

In one aspect, the request can comprise an offer, and the request and the offer can be provided to one or more users. The users can be associated with the user data. If received metadata does not match reference metadata associated with a reference of the content item, one or more portions of the content stored by the user device may be damaged. The reference metadata and at least portions of the reference content item corresponding to the one or more portions of the content stored by the user device that are damaged may be received to replace the damaged content.

Abstract: By way of example, a method, apparatus, system, and software are described for using a previously-identified location within content, such as a splash screen indicating a transition between main program content and a commercial segment, to skip to a subsequent location in the content, such as a location at which a subsequent appearance of the splash screen is detected. This may allow for an at least partially automated recognition-based content skipping feature.

Abstract: A base station may transmit, to a wireless device, configuration parameters of a downlink control channel. The configuration parameters may indicate features such as a subframe in which the downlink control channel is configured, and a starting symbol, and the base station may use the downlink control channel for transmitting packet scheduling information.
