The guide member may retain the load transfer member at a predetermined angle. In some embodiments, the size indicator may correspond to the thickness of an insulation layer, such as in a sandwich wall panel. The retention housing may further include at least one depth locating means. An insulation layer is then supported above the first concrete layer so as to create a space therebetween. After the first and second concrete layers have cured, the wall panels can be lifted, transported, and assembled into a wall structure. The wall structure may extend below or above grade and may be multi-tiered.
