  • Patent number: 11104017
Abstract: A hair cutting system includes a handle defining a longitudinal axis, a strut mounted to the handle and a hair cutting blade assembly coupled to the strut. The cutting blade assembly includes a stationary blade defining cutting teeth having blade edges and a movable blade defining cutting teeth having blade edges and capable of reciprocal movement relative to the stationary blade in a horizontal direction. The movable blade and the stationary blade are movable relative to each other in a longitudinal direction to adjust a longitudinal position of the movable blade relative to the stationary blade to selectively vary a distance between the blade edges of the stationary blade and the blade edges of the movable blade. A releasable lock is configured to selectively lock and release the stationary blade and the movable blade with respect to each other in the longitudinal direction.

  • Publication number: 20210196076
Abstract: The beverage appliance of the present invention includes a venturi having a steam inlet and a milk inlet. The steam inlet and milk inlet each include a solenoid valve configurable between an open state and a closed state. The solenoid valves are electrically coupled to a processor and are controllable through first and second switches. In operation, upon activation of the first switch, the solenoid valves are controlled to their open states to deliver milk and steam to the venturi to produce frothed milk. When a desired amount of frothed milk has been dispensed, the user deactivates the first switch and the processor controls only the milk inlet solenoid valve to its closed state. The steam inlet solenoid valve remains in its open state for a predetermined amount of time such that a burst of steam only is forced through the venturi and distribution lines to purge them of milk.

  • Publication number: 20210156076
Abstract: A handheld appliance for emitting steam to treat a fabric has a housing, a water reservoir, a pump, and a steam generator operatively connected to the pump. The housing has an annular steam emitting head having a hole passing through the steam head. The steam head has an outlet with a shape surrounding the hole so that steam inside the steam head is emitted out of the steam head through the outlet around the hole. A handheld appliance for emitting steam to treat a fabric also has a housing having a water reservoir, a pump, a steam generator operatively connected to the pump, and an outlet. The steam generator forms a steam path that has a first layer that extends from an inlet into the steam generator on a first side of a heater to a second layer that is on a second side of the heater opposite to the first layer.
