The hair engaging teeth are spaced from the clasp and the tongue to engage hair surrounding the clasp and the tongue. The hair clip apparatus is retained in the volume of hair by trapping the hair between the clasp and the tongue, and also via the hair engaging teeth. The hair engaging teeth also are arranged to retain and secure hair between adjacent teeth, and also trap hair between the inner surfaces of the teeth and the base and/or tongue.

Abstract: A hair brush has a semi-circular configuration, and has a head having a support member with a plurality of apertures therein that accommodate a plurality of bristles each having a hollow therein, and has a rear having an elongated hollow therein that complements the semi-circular configuration. When air is applied to the bristles, each bristle communicates with the aperture so that air can flow through the openings of the bristles, the aperture and outward through the hollow in the rear of the hair brush and away from the hair of a user. When air is applied to the hollow in the rear, the air is directed through the apertures and bristles onto the hair of the user.

Abstract: A hair brush adapted to impart both a straightening effect and a curling effect on a length of hair includes first and second members. The first member includes a first handle and a first brush head having an inner row of centrally disposed primary teeth, an outer row of bristles mounted on each side of the centrally disposed primary teeth, and a thermal conductive element. Abstract: The beverage appliance of the present invention includes a venturi having a steam inlet and a milk inlet. The steam inlet and milk inlet each include a solenoid valve configurable between an open state and a closed state. The solenoid valves are electrically coupled to a processor and are controllable through first and second switches. In operation, upon activation of the first switch, the solenoid valves are controlled to their open states to deliver milk and steam to the venturi to produce frothed milk. When a desired amount of frothed milk has been dispensed, the user deactivates the first switch and the processor controls only the milk inlet solenoid valve to its closed state. The steam inlet solenoid valve remains in its open state for a predetermined amount of time such that a burst of steam only is forced through the venturi and distribution lines to purge them of milk.
