  • Patent number: 9897268
Abstract: A portable tower trailer having a light tower housing constructed to allow for both stacking and nesting which is beneficial in both storage and shipping of light towers is disclosed. The portable tower trailer employs a frame having a hinged axle that allows the wheels to operate in a conventional manner. The hinged axle further allows the wheels to be rotated upward allowing the frame to rest flush on the ground or stacked upon a similar shaped portable tower. The stackable light tower is constructed having a base employing an engine system and a fuel tank; and a mast pivotally coupled to the base and movable between a storage configuration and a positioning configuration. The storage configuration is when the mast is folded over an upper surface of the base whereby an additional light tower base or tower trailer may be placed or stacked over the top of the first light tower base.

  • Publication number: 20180027940
Abstract: A system and method for an intelligent hair drying/styling apparatus with user information transmission and storage capabilities is herein provided. The hair drying/styling apparatus houses a control circuit board and an infrared or temperature sensor (or camera) in order detect an individual's hair condition moisture level to determine a user specific, customizable dryer setting. The information detected by the sensor is stored locally, on a proximal Internet-enabled device, or on a remote or cloud-based server and accessed by the hair drying/styling apparatus through a wireless local area network connectivity function. Accordingly, a user's hair temperature-drying profile may be stored and later recalled to provide optimal hair styling setting customized for that user. This innovation will enable any number of hair professionals and or end consumers to improve styling and dry time.

  • Publication number: 20180010580
Abstract: A system for maintaining buoyant, energy-capture devices in general relative position in water in the presence of surface waves allows heeling of the energy capture devices while preventing collision. The system includes a grid of structural members that resists compression while permitting limited relative surface displacement between the first and second energy-capture devices. The structural members may be partially compressible and provide a restoring force, and they may allow heeling. Electricity from wave energy capture devices is combined in a way that smoothes variations inherent in wave action. Electricity from wind energy capture devices is combined with energy from wave energy capture devices for transmission to shore.

  • Patent number: 9865069
Abstract: Methods and systems for generating an interactive rotatable 360-degree presentation of an object are disclosed. The methods and systems obtain data describing the object, where the data includes information about a number of images of the object, as well as additional information about the object. The images are automatically obtained and rearranged into at least one sequence of images substantially evenly distributed around 360 degrees. It is determined whether to add hotspot(s) to image(s), and if hotspot(s) are to be added, the hotspot(s) are automatically added to the image(s). The ordered images of the sequence(s) are then merged into an interactive rotatable 360-degree presentation of the object.

  • Patent number: 9827732
Abstract: A foldable container moveable between a stowed configuration and a deployed configuration defining an interior area for holding bulk material is provided. The container includes opposed side panels and a bottom flap extending from a bottom edge of each side panel. A tab member extends from a distal end of each bottom flap and a tab finger extends from each tab member so as to define a hook at a distal end of each bottom flap. The hooks are interconnected so as to hingedly connect the distal ends of the bottom flaps together, thereby causing the bottom flaps to rotate between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions as the end panels are translated between their respective stowed and deployed configuration positions. Locking tabs extending from distal ends of end flaps extend into the interior area of the container to secure the container in the deployed configuration.
