  • Publication number: 20250090163
Abstract: A soft suture anchor construct is provided for placement in or against tissue or bone. The anchor includes an all-suture anchor having two ends positioned in a first direction in a pre-deployment configuration. In a deployed configuration, the two ends are positioned in a second direction different from the first direction. The suture anchor construct also includes a filament passing through the anchor at a plurality of passing locations, where the filament changes direction at least once along the direction of the longitudinal axis of the anchor and forms at least one slack line. In the pre-deployment configuration, the filament extends a first length between adjacent passing locations, and in the deployed configuration, the filament extends a second length between adjacent passing locations. The second length is shorter than the first length. The suture anchor construct may be deployed in a bone hole with an inserter, anchor driver, or other deployment device.

  • Patent number: 12232722
Abstract: A suture passing drill for passing suture through bone. The suture passing drill includes a proximal end and a distal end with an elongated shaft extending therebetween. The elongated shaft has first portion with a first diameter. The drill also includes a wire loop extending from the proximal end of the elongated shaft and a drill tip at the distal end of the elongated shaft. The elongated shaft has a narrow portion with a second diameter, which is smaller than the first diameter. The narrow portion is positioned proximally adjacent relative to the drill tip. The narrow portion is preferably created through coining. Coining prevents the need for machining the outer diameter (or surface) of the elongated shaft proximal to the drill tip in order to create a larger drill tip. The larger drill tip of the suture passing drill allows for passage of the entire drill through the bone hole.

  • Publication number: 20250057523
Abstract: A suture construct for securing tissue to bone at the location of the bone anchor without the using a knot stack. The suture construct has a fixation limb including a body with a first end and a second end. A loop is formed at the first end of the body and interconnected to a tail extending out of the other end of the body. A suture shuttle having a shuttle loop and a shuttle tail extends through the body of fixation limb so that the shuttle loop is positioned proximately to the loop and the shuttle tail exists the body from a splice formed in an intermediate position of the body. The suture construct may be coupled to a hard body anchor or an all suture anchor. The suture shuttle is used to capture the fixation limb and pull it over the tissue to be secured and back through the body of the construct to form a one-way tightening loop.

  • Patent number: 12185935
Abstract: A locking suture construct having suture material with a first end and a second end, each attached to a first body in a slidable manner, a constricting member formed in the second end of the suture material, and a bight in the suture material between the first end and the second end. The bight can be pulled through the constricting member around a second body to create a locking loop. The first end and the second end are passed through the locking loop. Pulling the first end increases a perimeter of the locking loop and moves the constricting member toward the second body. When the constricting member reaches the second body, pulling the first end reduces the perimeter of the locking loop and moves/rotates the constricting member around the second body toward the first body to hold the first body in relative position to the second body.
