Abstract: A surgical gas delivery device includes a filter cartridge interface and a computer controlled control unit configured to control the circulation of surgical gas during endoscopic surgery. The control unit can operate in a plurality of different modes of operation. A tube set for connecting the surgical gas delivery device to one or more end effectors includes a filter cartridge in fluid communication with the tube set. The filter cartridge is seated in the filter cartridge interface of the surgical gas delivery device to communicate surgical gas between the surgical gas delivery device and the one or more end effectors. The surgical gas delivery device includes a reader operatively connected to receive input from a data carrying element of the tube set. The data carrying element, reader, and control unit can launch a specific one of the modes of operation when the filter cartridge is inserted.

  • Patent number: 11129607
Abstract: A system and method for securing a target body to a bone mass with a loop-in-loop suture anchor. The system generally includes suture material passing through a substrate (e.g., suture anchor). The suture material includes a splice that allows the suture material to be passed through the splice and around a target body, ultimately creating three loops in the suture material. By tensioning the loops and/or ends of the suture material, the loops bring the target body into a desired position relative to the bone mass and secure it in that position.

Abstract: A system and method of repairing an ACL using a fixation device and a pre-sutured tendon. The fixation device includes a button having first and second inner apertures extending therethrough and a length of suture having a first limb connected to a second limb. The first and second limbs both extend through the first inner aperture, forming an adjustable loop in the length of suture extending from the button. A mass of suture material or a protuberance is formed in a first terminal end of the first limb extending proximally from the button. The mass of suture material and the protuberance have a diameter that is larger than a diameter of the first inner aperture.
