Abstract: A PWM signal on which a dither signal is superimposed is used for adjusting a central position when controlling a solenoid valve. To improve this type of control process in which the amplitude of the dither signal depends on the current of the solenoid valve and thus on the PWM signal, the PWM signal and the dither signal are generated in a computer unit independently of the power regulation process. Forming the signals separately has the advantage of generating a constant amplitude for the dither signal each time a triggering signal is generated for the solenoid valve such that the armature of the solenoid valve can oscillate specifically about the central position and thereof at constant small vibrations. This allows frictional forces to be reliably reduced and the solenoid valve to be switched more rapidly while the load on the main computer is reduced.

Abstract: In an internal combustion engine with several cylinders, at least one cylinder is configured as a reference cylinder to which an active cylinder pressure sensor is allocated. A passive cylinder pressure sensor is allocated to each of the remaining cylinders. At least one actuating member is assigned to the cylinders. A crankshaft angle sensor is provided. During the quasi-stationary operating mode, the cylinder segment durations are equated, by an actuating member engaging in at least one actuating signal allocated to the respective cylinder. Furthermore, during the quasi-stationary operating mode, the measuring signal of the active sensor is allocated to the respective measuring signals of the passive sensors. As a result, the signal processing of the measuring signals of the passive sensors is adjusted depending on the respective measuring signals of the passive sensors captured during the quasi-stationary operating mode and on the allocated measuring signal of the active sensor.

Abstract: A circuit configuration monitors the electrical insulation of an electrically conductive part in relation to a first pole and a second pole of an electrical power network for example, an electrical drive network in a hybrid vehicle. The circuit configuration is characterized in that between the electrically conductive part and the two poles, a voltage divider having at least two resistors is arranged in each case. A measuring unit is associated with each of the two voltage dividers and provided for measuring a partial voltage, which drops via at least one of the resistors. A switch unit is associated each with the two voltage dividers and is provided for alternately bypassing at least one of the resistors.
Abstract: A method for operating wheel electronics of a tire checking system includes providing wheel electronics having a battery-free power supply encompassing at least one rechargeable power storage medium for supplying power to the wheel electronics. The wheel electronics can be operated in a reduced-power transmission mode and a subsequent normal transmission mode. In the modes, data that relate to tire-specific parameters and are determined by the wheel electronics are transmitted to a vehicle-mounted communication device in the form of modulated transmission signals, with less transmission power being used for the transmission signals in the power-reduced transmission mode than in the normal transmission mode. Wheel electronics and a tire checking system are also provided.
Abstract: A method for monitoring the state or an engine oil in an internal combustion engine, in which first the viscosity of the engine oil is determined at different temperatures of the engine oil, after which a viscosity index is ascertained from the viscosity and the temperature of the engine oil, which method permits a reliable statement about the state of the engine oil during its issue in the internal combustion engine to be made, the viscosity index of the engine oil is determined at different successive times and the change of the viscosity index over time is used as a measure for assessing the oil state.

The energy storage device has a plurality of cells which each provide a voltage between their first and second connections and are switched in series. At least two voltage measuring circuits are provided, wherein the voltage measuring circuits each measure the voltage between a first measurement input and a second measurement input. A first connection conductor connects the first terminal of the first cell to the first measurement input of a first voltage measurement circuit. A second connection conductor connects the second terminal of the first cell to the second measurement input of a first voltage measurement circuit. A first load resistor can be switched between the first measurement input of the second voltage measurement circuit and a first fixed potential.

Abstract: A touch pad arrangement having a touch pad which has a sensitive operating surface and which can be moved in a direction of movement by a guide mechanism in a guided manner without tipping between a raised resting position and a lowered position. A lever mechanism is arranged on at least two side areas of the touch pad lying opposite each other. Abstract: Presented is a method for continuously determining the tensile force F in a cable of a parking brake that includes transmitting the tensile force F to a cable grommet coupled to a first end of an expandable intermediate part that includes a magnet and/or a magnetic sensor. Abstract: Disclosed are a method and a device for more rapidly switching inductive fuel injection valves. According to the invention, the magnetic retaining forces generated by remanence in a bistable valve comprising an opening and closing coil or by eddy currents in a standard valve comprising an opening coil and a closing spring are eliminated with the aid of a negative current that flows through the coil in a direction running counter to the direction of the operating current. Additionally, the magnetic yoke and armature that are used are made of materials having different conductivities in order to be able to close the valve even more quickly.
