  • Patent number: 11408364
Abstract: Disclosed is a method for regulating the output voltage of a DC-to-DC voltage converter of a motor vehicle engine control computer. The method includes a step of the microcontroller simultaneously controlling a control module, so that the control module drives at least one injector of the vehicle engine, and a converter, so that the converter generates its own output voltage by setting the strength of the drive current to its maximum in what is called a “forced” mode corresponding to a step.

  • Patent number: 11393126
Abstract: A method for calibrating one or more extrinsic parameters of an image sensor includes selecting a first set of parallel feature edges appearing in an image frame captured by the image sensor and determining reference vanishing points for the first set of parallel feature edges. Selecting a second set of parallel feature edges and projecting a plurality of points from the second set parallel feature edges onto the projection reference frame of the image sensor. The method determines the second set of parallel feature edges, second vanishing points located on the projection reference frame and reduces any deviation in location of the second vanishing points from the reference vanishing points until the deviation is within acceptable predefined limits by recursively: modifying the pre-existing projection matrix, projecting a plurality of points from the second set parallel feature edges onto the projection reference frame and determining the second vanishing points after projecting.

  • Patent number: 11373461
Abstract: A method for monitoring extra off-duty time intervals of a driver includes: obtaining on-duty time intervals and off-duty time intervals of a driver; and scanning the off-duty time intervals to identify extra off-duty time intervals having a length more than a second minimum length and less than a first minimum length, any identified extra off-duty time intervals being subtracted from a predefined threshold. If the threshold is greater than 0, a workshift reset time interval is analyzed and it is determined if the workshift reset time interval includes an extra off-duty time interval, which cannot be used as workshift reset time interval. Subsequently the analyzed extra off-duty time intervals are subtracted from the threshold. If the threshold is greater than 0, the workshift reset time interval is analyzed and, the workshift reset time interval is, at least partly, shifted from today to tomorrow to create extra off-duty time interval today.

  • Publication number: 20220191616
Abstract: A processing unit for an audio system of a vehicle comprises a first processing node, a second processing node and a program memory. The program memory may be overwritten by the first processing node and by the second processing node. After the processing unit has started up the first processing node may compute and write to the program memory an audio output. The processing unit may also perform a handover of the computing of the audio output from the first processing node to the second processing node when the first processing node has overwritten the program memory up to a predefined point and when the second processing node is operational. The second processing node is designed to compute the audio output after the handover, and to write this audio output to the program memory.
