Abstract: A highly reflective coating painting product, particularly suitable as a coating for integrating spheres, comprises a diffusely reflective product such as, for example, barium sulphate, and an acrylic binder or glue, which are dispersed in a liquid vehicle, preferably constituted by a mixture of water and alcohol. The acrylic binder or glue is a product based on acrylic polymer or copolymer the quantity of which in the coating product is between about 1% and 15%, and preferably between 3% and 4%, by weight, relative to the reflective product. The coating product is applied to a surface in successive layers until a thickness of at least 0.5 mm is reached. The surface coated with the product is then subjected to heating, preferably at about 100° C., for about 1 hour.

Abstract: In a mixer for fluids, of the type including at least one clamping assembly (1) operable selectively for clamping, in use, a container of fluid products, a device is provided for controlling the clamping of the container which includes a sensor (8) mounted on the clamping assembly (1). The sensor (8) is disposed in a region of the clamping assembly (4) subjected, in use, to a force in a predetermined direction due to the compressive forces exerted on the container in the clamping state. The sensor (8) is further adapted to emit a continuous signal proportional to the force.
Abstract: A system for transporting containers, which is especially suitable for use in a plant for the production of paints, varnishes and the like, includes a longitudinally extending bearing structure for containers. The structure in turn includes a first, fixed, portion defining one or more fixed bearing surfaces, and a second, movable, portion defining one or more movable bearing surfaces. Handling devices are coupled operatively to the movable portion in order, in use, to bring about coordinated movements of lifting/lowering and longitudinal advance/return of the movable portion relative to the fixed portion.
Abstract: A dispensing machine for the metered delivery of fluid products, especially painting products. The dispensing machine includes a dispensing head with a nozzle, and the ends of a plurality of delivery ducts communicate with the dispensing head in order to feed a plurality of fluid products thereinto. A mixing device, in particular a rotating turbine, is mounted between the ends of the delivery ducts and the dispensing nozzle to continuously mix the fluid products coming from the different delivery ducts and simultaneously entering the dispensing head.
Abstract: A system for the preservation, transportation and dispensing of dyes provides for a combination of a hollow reservoir having at least one deformable wall so that its internal volume can vary from a maximum to a minimum substantially close to zero, and an opening for the connection of the reservoir to a dye-dispensing circuit; the reservoir is airtight so that its internal volume corresponds to the volume of dye contained therein in essentially any condition of use.
Abstract: A device for moistening a set of nozzles for dispensing fluids in a dispensing machine has a support for the nozzles and a hollow member movable selectively along a predetermined path from a first position in which the set of nozzles is covered to a second position in which the nozzles are uncovered; in the position in which the set of nozzles is covered, the hollow member cooperates with a sealing element to define a first closed chamber; an isolation element movable selectively relative to the hollow member cooperates with the nozzle support to define at least one second closed chamber which is disposed inside the first closed chamber and in which at least one nozzle of the dispensing machine emerges.
Abstract: A perforating and plugging device for a dye-dispensing machine comprising at least one output nozzle and a support structure for a container, comprises a perforating member for forming a hole in the container substantially in vertical alignment with the nozzle of the dispensing machine. A plugging member which can house a plug is movable selectively from a rest position to an operative position in order to fit the plug in the hole formed in the container. The perforating member is mounted on a slide element movable horizontally and interacting with articulation means which can move the plugging member, rotating it substantially through an angle of 90.degree. from the rest position to the operative position.
