Abstract: The present disclosure relates generally to physical object authentication. In some embodiments, methods and apparatus relate to physical object authentication through comparison of randomly or pseudo-randomly occurring features with expected features. In some cases digital watermark or other indicia is used to convey the expected features. Of course, other combinations, embodiments and features are disclosed.
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for detecting error in a cloud infrastructure by running a plurality of training tasks on the cloud infrastructure and generating training execution logs; generating a model miner with the training execution logs to represent one or more correct task executions in the cloud infrastructure; after training, running a plurality of tasks on the cloud infrastructure and capturing live execution logs; and from the live execution logs, if a current task deviates from the correct task execution, indicating an execution error for correction in real-time.
Abstract: A therapy assembly configured for at least partial insertion in a living body. At least one fixation structure is attached to the therapy delivery element proximate the electrodes. The fixation structure is configured to collapse radially inward and wrap circumferentially around the therapy delivery element to a collapsed configuration when inserted into a lumen of an introducer. The fixation structures deploy to a deployed configuration when the introducer is retracted. The fixation structure includes major surfaces generally parallel with, and extending radially outward from, a central axis of the therapy delivery element, proximal edge surface oriented toward the proximal end, and a distal edge surface oriented toward the distal end. The proximal and distal edge surfaces provide generally symmetrical resistance to displacement of the therapy delivery element within the living body in either a proximal direction or a distal direction along the central axis.

Abstract: A synthetic controlled variable is obtained by obtaining a synthetic quantity using measurement results of a first and a second measuring instruments and corresponding gains (or transfer function) and synthesizing the synthetic quantity and one of the measurement results of the first and the second measuring instruments, respectively, via a high pass filter and a low pass filter. A feedback control system is structured that obtains a control input using a synthetic controlled variable and a desired value, and gives a plant the control input. This makes adding of a high pass filter for removing offset of installation position of the first and the second measuring instruments no longer necessary, and allows a driving system which controls robust driving in a high bandwidth of a plate stage regardless of bandwidth in which resonance appears to be designed.

Abstract: A method and system are provided for implementing resistive defect performance mitigation for integrated circuits. A test is generated for identifying resistive defects. A first self heating repair process is performed for repairing resistive defects. Testing is performed to identify a mitigated resistive defect and a functional integrated circuit. Responsive to identifying a resistive defect not being mitigated and a functional integrated circuit, a second repair process is performed, then testing is performed again.

Abstract: Provided are an organic electroluminescence device capable of enhancing reflectance of an anode, thereby resulting in improved light-emitting efficiency and a method of manufacturing the same. An anode (12), a thin film layer for hole injection (13), an insulating layer (14), an organic layer (15) including a luminescent layer (15C) and a cathode (16) including a semi-transparent electrode (16A) are laminated in order on a substrate (11). The anode (12) comprises silver which is a metal with high reflectance or an alloy including silver, and the thin film layer for hole injection (13) comprises chromium oxide or the like. Light generated in the luminescent layer (15C) is multiply reflected between the anode (12) and the semi-transparent electrode (16A) to be emitted from the cathode (16). As the reflectance of the anode (12) is enhanced, the light generated in the luminescent layer (15C) can be efficiently emitted.

Abstract: A damper control device includes a speed conversion unit configured to convert a damper speed to a control damper speed, and if the damper is accelerating, the damper speed is converted so that signs of the control damper speed and the damper speed accord with each other and an absolute value of the control damper speed becomes an absolute value of the damper speed or more, and if the damper is decelerating, the damper speed is converted so that the signs of the control damper speed and the damper speed accord with each other and the absolute value of the control damper speed becomes the absolute value of the damper speed or less, and a damping force of the damper is controlled by using the control damper speed.
Abstract: A current operating mode of a lifting device is determined as the lifting device is moving a load in an operating area. An object in the operating area is positioned, in whose area the operation of the lifting device is restricted in comparison with the operating area around the object. A difference between the current operating mode of the lifting device and the restricted operating mode to be applied in the object is determined. On the basis of the difference, the distance travelled by the lifting device is determined when the current operating mode of the lifting device is changed to the operating mode to be applied in the restricted object.

Abstract: A video is received of a region of a subject where a signal corresponding to respiratory function can be registered by a video device. Pixels in the region in each of the image frames are processed to identify a respiratory pattern with peak/valley pairs. A peak/valley pair of interest is selected. An array of optical flow vectors is determined between a window of groups of pixel locations in a reference image frame corresponding to a peak of the pair/valley pair and a window in each of a number of image frames corresponding to the respiratory signal between the peak and ending at a valley point. Optical flow vectors have a direction and a magnitude. A ratio is determined between upwardly pointing optical flow vectors and downwardly pointing optical flow vectors. Based on the ratio, a determination is made whether the respiration phase for that peak/valley pair is inspiration or expiration.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are exemplary methods, apparatus, and systems for performing timing-aware automatic test pattern generation (ATPG) that can be used, for example, to improve the quality of a test set generated for detecting delay defects or holding time defects. In certain embodiments, timing information derived from various sources (e.g. from Standard Delay Format (SDF) files) is integrated into an ATPG tool. The timing information can be used to guide the test generator to detect the faults through certain paths (e.g., paths having a selected length, or range of lengths, such as the longest or shortest paths). To avoid propagating the faults through similar paths repeatedly, a weighted random method can be used to improve the path coverage during test generation. Experimental results show that significant test quality improvement can be achieved when applying embodiments of timing-aware ATPG to industrial designs.
