Abstract: A communication device determines a communication quality with a base station, requests a neighboring base station for a transition judgment information to transmit information to become a judgment criterion of the communication quality to be included in a Beacon signal at a stage before the communication quality degrades to an extent that the base station is immediately switched, and selects a base station with which a communication connection should be established on the basis of the transition judgment information included in the Beacon signal transmitted in response to the transition judgment request. The communication device is applicable to a communication system in the wireless LAN.

Abstract: To improve measurement accuracy. A concentration measurement device includes: an absorbance measurement unit configured to measure absorbance in a plurality of different wavelength regions for a mixed liquid in which different liquids are mixed; and a control unit configured to correct a concentration of at least one liquid on the basis of absorbance in the plurality of different wavelength regions. The absorbance measurement unit measures absorbance in two wavelength regions. The absorbance measurement unit measures absorbance in a spectrum. Particles contained in one of the different liquids are different from particles contained in another of the different liquids. Each of the different liquids is a suspension or a solution. The mixed liquid includes a white blood cell suspension and a red blood cell suspension. The control unit calculates a mixing ratio of a liquid mixed in the mixed liquid, from absorbance in the plurality of different wavelength regions.

Abstract: The technical solutions disclosed are directed to a multi-state reconciliation finite state automata operator framework. The system and methods can identify one or more states between an initial state and a final state of an application executed by a service and one or more parameters corresponding to timing of implementation of the one or more states. The systems and method can provide a model configured to manage progress corresponding to the one or more states of the application to determine, using a first matrix, a current state of the one or more states of the application and determine, using a second matrix, a parameter of the one or more parameters corresponding to a timing of implementation of the current state. Abstract: Techniques are described herein for probabilistic monitoring of high-frequency, low-latency database queries. In some embodiments, a probabilistic query monitoring system periodically samples active database sessions. For example, the system may generate sample data every one second or at some other sampling rate for each database session that is currently active. The sample data may include a mapping between query identifiers to sample counter values that are extracted at different sample intervals. The system may then estimate performance metrics for the set of active database based on the counter values sampled across consecutive sample intervals.
