Publication number: 20260131997Abstract: A cable retractor includes a housing. A motorized drive section within the housing urges a segment of cable past the drive section. A chamber within the housing includes a first pulley rotatable about a fixed first axis near an end of the chamber, a second pulley rotatable about a second axis, and a third pulley rotatable about a third axis. At least the second or third pulley is translatable along a length of the chamber. The cable enters the chamber at a first opening, partially winds around the second pulley, partially winds around the first pulley, then partially winds around the third pulley, and exits at a second opening. To extract a length of cable, the translatable pulley translates toward the first pulley such that a decrease in distance between the first axis and the axis of the translatable pulley is proportional to the extracted length of the cable.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2025Publication date: May 14, 2026Applicant: CRESTRON ELECTRONICS, INC.Inventors: Kriss Replogle, Charles Magrino, Brian Clough, David Paolazzi, Obioma Chukwuocha

Publication number: 20260116698Abstract: A cable retractor includes a housing. A motorized drive section within the housing urges at least a segment of cable past the drive section. A circular chamber within the housing, including a circular spindle at a center, holds at least another segment of cable. The at least another segment of cable loops around the spindle. The motorized drive section urges the cable in one direction to draw the at least another segment of the cable from the circular chamber, past the motorized drive section, and through an external opening in the housing to outside the housing. The motorized drive section and urges the cable in an opposing direction to draw the at least another segment through the external opening from outside, past the motorized drive section, into the circular chamber, and around the circular-shaped spindle, then looping around itself in a circular manner.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 22, 2025Publication date: April 30, 2026Applicant: CRESTRON ELECTRONICS, INC.Inventors: Kriss Replogle, Charles Magrino, Brian Clough, David Paolazzi, Obioma Chukwuocha

Publication number: 20260094127Abstract: A system reserves and provides a user with a workspace that includes a workspace device. A panel includes, and controls, a display. A portal controls operation of the workspace and panel. The portal receives a user request to reserve a workspace for a predetermined period, reserves the workspace based on the user request, including generating a two-dimensional barcode unique to the reserved workspace and that reservation, and transmits the 2D code to the panel for presentation on the display. The portal transmits information about the reserved workspace to a user device, receives from the user device data generated from a scan of the 2D code presented on the display, and in response to receiving the scanned data, activates the reserved workspace and the workspace device. The user is thereby supplied with the reserved workspace by merely providing the user request and then scanning the 2D code using the user device.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 8, 2025Publication date: April 2, 2026Applicant: CRESTRON ELECTRONICS, INC.Inventors: Robert Bach, Mark Slivovsky, William Braaf
