Abstract: A workspace authentication system includes a conferencing device having a display screen, a bezel, and a plurality of three-dimensional authentication objects disposed behind respective portions of the bezel. Each three-dimensional authentication object is readable by a light detection and ranging (LIDAR) scanner and encodes authentication data. The bezel includes independently controllable regions configured to selectively reveal less than all of the three-dimensional authentication objects during an authentication workflow. A processor controls the regions of the bezel to expose the three-dimensional authentication objects according to a sequence, receives scan data corresponding to an exposed three-dimensional authentication object from a mobile user device, and authenticates a user when the scan data corresponds to expected authentication data for the sequence.

  • Publication number: 20260226771
Abstract: A swivel mount kit includes a first insertable part having a hollow, cylindrical body and a first plate part attached thereto. An upper surface of the first plate part includes a curved track and with a particular shape and dimensions. A second insertable part includes an elongated body and a second plate part attached thereto. A lower surface of the second plate part includes a protrusion that extends away and has a location, shape and dimensions that correspond to those of the locking region and those of the curved track. When the elongated body is inserted into a central opening of the first insertable part and the protrusion is inserted into the locking region, the protrusion fits securely and prevents the second insertable part from moving. When the protrusion is instead inserted into the curved track, the protrusion is movable and the second insertable part is rotatable about an axis.

  • Patent number: 12693004
Abstract: Systems, methods, and modes for a modular recessed light fixture and for mounting and aligning thereof. The light fixture comprises a housing supporting a lighting module, a bracket ring located within the housing, and an alignment ring adapted to magnetically attach to the bracket ring through an architectural panel to locate the bracket ring. The alignment ring may comprise an adjustment mechanism that is laterally adjusted within the alignment ring to a desired position. The bracket ring may be adjustable and adapted to laterally travel with respect to the housing such that displacing the alignment ring along the architectural panel, moves the adjustable bracket ring within the housing to a desired position. The housing may comprise a baseplate comprising material capable of being cut such that after locating the bracket ring using the alignment ring an opening is cut through the architectural panel and the housing baseplate.

  • Publication number: 20260131997
Abstract: A cable retractor includes a housing. A motorized drive section within the housing urges a segment of cable past the drive section. A chamber within the housing includes a first pulley rotatable about a fixed first axis near an end of the chamber, a second pulley rotatable about a second axis, and a third pulley rotatable about a third axis. At least the second or third pulley is translatable along a length of the chamber. The cable enters the chamber at a first opening, partially winds around the second pulley, partially winds around the first pulley, then partially winds around the third pulley, and exits at a second opening. To extract a length of cable, the translatable pulley translates toward the first pulley such that a decrease in distance between the first axis and the axis of the translatable pulley is proportional to the extracted length of the cable.
