    Abstract: A hinge assembly comprising a first hinge leaf assembly and a second hinge leaf assembly, each having their respective hinge leaf. The hinge assembly further comprises at least one mounting member fixable to a moveable barrier through a fixing arrangement. The first and/or second hinge leaf is connectable to the at least one mounting member so as to be adjustable relative thereto. A locking arrangement is also included to releasably lock the first and/or second hinge leaf to the at least one mounting member. The locking arrangement is operative to adopt a hold condition where relative movement between the first and/or second hinge leaf and the at least one mounting member is prevented, and a released condition where the first and/or second hinge leaf is able to be adjusted relative to the at least one mounting member.

    Abstract: An automated window mechanism having an electric motor attached to a sliding panel of a window configured to open and close the window by moving the sliding panel. The electric motor has a locked state in which the electric motor and sliding panel are stationary. The automated window mechanism also includes a monitor configured to detect an external force applied to the sliding panel while the electric motor is in the locked state. In response to the monitor detecting the external force while the electric motor is in the locked state, the positive lead and the negative lead are grounded, rendering the electric motor an electric brake. A method and system for preventing unwanted movement of an automated window are also disclosed.

The system includes a processor coupled to the sensor circuit, where the processor may be configured to: detect a shift in weight distribution across the user-facing surface of the multi-point harness. The processor may generate at least one virtual physics parameter associated with the detected shift in weight distribution. The at least one virtual physics parameter representing a force associated with a change in center of gravity of the user. The processor may modulate the 6 DOF device to orient the multi-point harness based on at least one virtual physics parameter to simulate a resultant trajectory of the user during the flight simulation.

The mechanism also includes a position sensor coupled to the transmission and configured to monitor a position of the sliding window relative to the frame using the transmission. The position sensor continues to monitor the rotational position of the transmission when the transmission is engaged and when the transmission is disengaged.

The mechanism also includes a transmission component that transfers power from the motor to movement of the window relative to the frame, the transmission component having a backup defined as a distance the transmission component can move from a first point at which further movement in the open direction will cause the window to begin moving in the open direction, and a second point at which further movement in the closed direction will cause the window to begin moving in the closed direction.
