Abstract: The present invention relates to a pourable thixotropic detergent composition comprising a continuous phase and at least 0.3 wt. % of suspended particles comprising water-soluble surfactant, said continuous phase containing at least 10 wt. % of an aminocarboxylate chelant and at least 10 wt. % of water and said water-soluble surfactant being selected from aryl sulfonate surfactant, alkyl sulfate surfactant and combinations thereof. The pourable detergent composition offers the advantage that it does not exhibit significant demixing during storage.

Abstract: Systems and methods for employing macroscopic resonant tunneling operations in quantum processors are described. New modes of use for quantum processor architectures employ probe qubits to determine energy eigenvalues of a problem Hamiltonian through macroscopic resonant tunneling operations. A dedicated probe qubit design that may be added to quantum processor architectures is also described. The dedicated probe qubit enables improved performance of macroscopic resonant tunneling operations and, consequently, improved performance of the new modes of use described.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a process of compacting a microporous fat powder, notably a microporous fat powder that can suitably be used as an oil structuring agent. One aspect of the invention relates to a process for compacting a microporous fat powder, said process comprising: feeding the fat powder into the feed zone of an extruder having a forwarding screw and a barrel within which said screw is centrally positioned; rotating said forwarding screw to advance said fat powder feed through a compacting zone of the extruder where the barrel comprises a plurality of venting openings having a shorter dimension that exceeds the volume weighted average diameter of the fat powder feed and that is less than 10 mm; and expelling the compacted fat powder from the extruder; wherein the temperature of the fat powder during passage through the extruder is maintained below 40° C. and wherein the compaction factor achieved exceeds 1.

Abstract: A method for repairing damages to sidewalls of an ultra-low dielectric constant film is disclosed by the present invention comprises the following steps: depositing an ultra-low dielectric constant film on an semiconductor substrate; dry-etching the ultra-low dielectric constant film to form a sidewall structure thereof; performing wet cleaning by using a chemical agent containing an unsaturated hydrocarbon having —O—C(Re)x; and performing ultraviolet curing. The present invention can restore pores size and porosity of the ultra-low dielectric constant film, and to keep effective dielectric constant to a minimum.
Abstract: SQUIDs may detect local magnetic fields. SQUIDS of varying sizes, and hence sensitivities may detect different magnitudes of magnetic fields. SQUIDs may be oriented to detect magnetic fields in a variety of orientations, for example along an orthogonal reference frame of a chip or wafer. The SQUIDS may be formed or carried on the same chip or wafer as a superconducting processor (e.g., a superconducting quantum processor). Measurement of magnetic fields may permit compensation, for example allowing tuning of a compensation field via a compensation coil and/or a heater to warm select portions of a system. A SQIF may be implemented as a SQUID employing an unconventional grating structure. Successful fabrication of an operable SQIF may be facilitated by incorporating multiple Josephson junctions in series in each arm of the unconventional grating structure.

Abstract: Device and method for the mutual positioning of shell parts. Such shell parts can be used for constructing a large cylinder, for example a silo. The shell parts are provided with end flanges which extend at right angles thereto. Once the shell parts have been brought into the correct position, the end flanges are connected to one another in any suitable way. It is proposed to position the shell parts and/or end flanges with respect to one another in the desired position by arranging supporting rollers on the side where there are no end flanges. On the other side, clamping rollers are used which are at an angle to one another. A combination of in each case a supporting roller and a clamping roller provides both the correct mutual positioning of the shell parts with respect to one another and the pressing against one another of the shell parts.

Abstract: A weighing apparatus is provided that quantifies an impact load based on an electrical output from a mass sensor to prevent damage to the mass sensor by disclosing the degree of impact to a user. The weighing apparatus includes a weighing unit on which an object is placed and a mass sensor that receives the mass×acceleration of gravity of the object as a load and measures mass from an electrical signal corresponding to displacement of an internal structure of the apparatus. The apparatus quantifies and records the amount of the displacement, and determines acceleration by a numerical calculation from the displacement data. The obtained acceleration quantifies the amount of impact applied on the weighing apparatus by the object, and may be used to warn the user when the weighing apparatus is in danger of damage.
Abstract: A method for operating a LED lighting system at a target output color is provided. The LED system includes a color sensor and three or more LED emitters each operable at a controllable emitter drive setting. The method provides at least one calibration matrix defining a relationship between measurements obtained from the color sensor, represented by sensor color point coordinates, and absolute color point coordinates in an absolute color space. In some embodiments, a calibration matrix defining a non-linear relationship between the two color spaces is provided. In other embodiments, individual calibration matrices are provided for each LED emitter.
