Abstract: A brake disk with a friction ring (2) and a linking element (4) which are interconnected by a threaded fastener arrangement (6). The threaded fastener arrangement (6)encompasses a screw, a nut, and an intermediate element (12). The intermediate element (12) prevents direct contact between the friction ring (2) and the linking element (4). Also provided is a sleeve element (14) that is disposed on a shaft (16) of the screw (8). A sliding block (18) is plugged onto the sleeve element (14). The intermediate element (12)at least partly encloses the sliding block such that thermal expansions acting in a radial direction can be compensated by a relative movement between the sliding block (18) and the intermediate element (12). The intermediate element also has a springy effect in an axial direction, whereby mechanical and thermal stresses can be compensated in the axial direction.

Abstract: A vehicle independent suspension has a plurality of wheel-control links, with an upper link being a transverse or diagonal link and with the surface spanned by the joint points of the upper transverse or diagonal link intersecting, at least in regions, a gas or hydropneumatic spring arrangement which suspends the wheel. The gas or hydropneumatic spring arrangement has a bellows which is arranged between a dimensionally rigid head plate arranged on the vehicle body and a rolling piston. Vehicle-body-side joints of the upper transverse or diagonal link are supported on the head plate.
Abstract: A column tube switch module is radially and axially fixed to a column tube and is supported at the same time on a bearing arranged on the steering spindle. A centering device secures a stator radially to the column tube when a force is acting coaxially on the longitudinal axis of the steering spindle. A steering angle sensor is provided whose fixed part is connected to the stator-end bearing while its rotating part is held so as to be capable of being driven by the steering wheel hub.

Abstract: In a stator for an electric machine and a method for manufacturing a winding for the stator of such an electric machine L-shaped wire segments having a rectangular cross-section are inserted into slots arranged around the stator The long leg of the L-shaped wire segment is then inserted, into or through, a respective slot and the wire segment is then bent into an S-shape resulting in a second short leg while reducing a length of the long leg. The first short leg of each one of a majority of the wire segments is then electrically connected to the first short leg of another one of the wire segments and the second short leg of each one of a majority of the wire segments is electrically connected to the second short leg of yet another one of the wire segments.

Abstract: The invention relates to a seat carrier arrangement for a vehicle seat (48) of a utility vehicle, especially a bus, said arrangement comprising a seat carrier (36) supported towards the rear on an energy-absorbing deformation element (52). The seat carrier (36) is embodied as a carrier part of a vehicle structure (10) on the front end of the utility vehicle. The invention also relates to a construction for a utility vehicle, especially a bus, comprising a vehicle structure (10) on the front end, with an upper and a lower absorber plane (12, 14). The invention also relates to at least one front axial bridge (58) of a base frame or a substructure (18) in the region of a front axle formed as a longitudinal deformation element.
Abstract: An apparatus is used for the recirculation of anode exhaust gases of a fuel cell, with a recirculation blower and at least one jet pump operated by a propulsion gas stream. The propelling medium is in this case a pressurized fuel, for example hydrogen. The anode outlet of the fuel cell is connected to the intake connection of the at least one jet pump. The outlet of the at least one jet pump is then connected to both the anode inlet and the intake connection of the recirculation blower. The output of the recirculation blower can be connected to the intake connection of the at least one jet pump.
Abstract: In an engine braking method and an internal combustion engine including an engine braking arrangement, wherein the engine has high pressure and low pressure exhaust gas turbochargers connected in series, with a bypass (12) around the high-pressure compressor allowing the air mass flow selectively to bypass the high pressure compressor which is arranged near the engine, and bypasses around both turbines permitting the exhaust gas mass flow selectively to bypass the high-pressure exhaust gas turbine which is near the engine and also the low pressure turbine the intake air and the exhaust gas flow are controlled so as to accurately provide for a desired engine braking power for example for maintaining a desired vehicle speed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a vehicle battery, comprising a housing, a cell assembly arranged in the housing made up of battery cells, and a plate arranged in the electrical connector region of the cells for electrical connection of the cells. The battery also has support elements arranged inside the housing which, in the case of a deformation of the housing toward the plate by a deformation force acting on the housing, support the loading forces acting on the plate due to the deformation of the housing.
Abstract: The invention relates to bipolar plates for fuel cell systems. According to the invention, the component sheets of a bipolar plate (1) are formed for a welded joint (4, 5), such that between the profile regions (6) of the channel ducts (2), only small local surfaces remain as welding zones (10). The above is achieved by means of a corresponding shape of the profile molding (8, 9) of the component sheets. As a result of said reduction of the welding zones to small regions of the total surface, a larger proportion of the area is available for the channels (2), in other words, the channel cross-section and hence the coolant flow can be increased. At the same time the structure for the use of gas diffusion layers made from non-wovens, textiles or paper can be optimized.

Abstract: A device is provided for guiding a movement of a bar-type wind deflector in relation to a roof frame in a region between a position of use and a position of non-use, especially on a cabriolet. At least one pair of rotary levers is provided on the wind deflector. The rotary levers are mounted on the wind deflector at a first rotary lever end such that they can rotate about a first rotational axis, and on the roof frame at a second rotary lever end such that they can rotate about a second rotational axis, the rotational axes being parallel to each other. The rotary levers of each pair are staggered in relation to each other at least in the direction of a normal of one of the rotational axes. The rotational axes of each pair form the vertexes of a parallelogram.
