Abstract: A method for the automated coupling of a mobile communication terminal with a central computing unit of a motor vehicle involves the mobile communication terminal communicating with a server to exchange pairing information. The central computing unit of the vehicle and an internet server exchange the pairing information. The mobile terminal then transmits the pairing information to the central computing unit of the vehicle, which then identifies and authenticates the mobile communication terminal using the pairing information and allows a coupling of the mobile communication terminal with the central computing unit of the vehicle.
Abstract: A motor vehicle differential gear has at least one housing part as a first gear part, and a crown wheel as a second gear part. The first and second gear parts are connected via respective first connection surfaces running in the axial direction by a press fit, and via respective second connection surfaces running at an angle to the axial direction, forming a welding seam. One of the gear parts is formed from a steel and the other gear part from a cast iron material, as well as such a differential gear in which the second connection surfaces connect directly to the first connection surfaces.

Abstract: A connection arrangement to connect a wiper blade to a wiper arm is disclosed. A connection element includes an upper part formed to fasten the connection element to the wiper arm, on which upper part a lower part formed to hold a basic body of the wiper blade is mounted to be pivotable around a rotational axis. A slider encloses the wiper arm in an end region, where the slider is able to move along the wiper arm from an assembly position into a functional position securing the connection element. A securing element prevents a movement of the slider into the assembly position during a pivot movement of the lower part around the rotational axis by a first value and allows the movement of the slider into the assembly position if the lower part is pivoted by a second value which is greater than the first value.
Abstract: A method for the production of a casting core is provided. The method includes preparing a mold which has at least one cavity and at least one filling opening which is fluidically connected to the cavity, introducing a liquid, hardenable salt molding material into the cavity via the filling opening, and at least partial hardening of the salt molding material introduced into the cavity to form a hollow body produced from hardened salt molding material, the hollow body having at least one hollow space of the casting core which is delimited by the hardened salt molding material. The hollow space of the casting core is closed on all sides by means of the salt molding material introduced into the cavity. A casting core is also provided.

Abstract: A device for controlling a driving light of a vehicle includes a headlight with a light source, a device for pivoting a produced light distribution and an optical element that provides adjustable light distribution. The optical element includes a light passage opening pivotable into an optical axis of the light source. A beam of the light distribution is limited or deflected such that a limited light field is produced in a pre-settable region in front of the vehicle, which light field has an external form of the light passage opening. Further light passage structures provide a “high beam” or “partial high beam” light pattern and thereafter the “high beam” light pattern by turning, pivoting and/or displacing the optical element in one direction, and another further light passage structure provides a “motorway” and thereafter a “country road” light pattern by turning, pivoting and/or displacing the optical element in an opposite direction.
Abstract: A method for operating an internal combustion engine involves using an injection valve to post-inject fuel into at least one cylinder of the internal combustion engine in order to help regenerate a particulate filter that is arranged in an exhaust system of the internal combustion engine, downstream of an oxidation catalyst. A closing moment of a discharge valve of a cylinder of the internal combustion engine is advanced when the temperature of the oxidation catalyst is in a first temperature range, and the post-injections are performed when the temperature of the oxidation catalyst is in a second temperature range, an upper limit of the first temperature range having a lower value that an upper limit of the second temperature range.

Abstract: A method for operating an exhaust gas system is provided. The method includes determining an amount of a reducing agent to be supplied to the exhaust gas of an engine and evaluating measurements which indicate a content of nitrogen oxides in the exhaust gas downstream of a catalytic device adapted to diminish the content of nitrogen oxides. A magnitude and a frequency of the measurements are taken into account in determining the amount of the reducing agent to be supplied. A plurality of measurements is captured during a predetermined period of time. A magnitude of a measurement captured within this period of time is related to a quantity derived from the respective magnitudes of the plurality of measurements. The related measurement is utilized to determine the amount of the reducing agent to be supplied. A control assembly for operating an exhaust gas system is also provided.
Abstract: A holder to fasten at least one component to a glass pane, in particular to a windscreen of a motor vehicle, is disclosed. The holder has a supporting body, which has a lower side, with which the supporting body is able to be adhered to the glass pane by adhesion, and an upper side, on which the holding elements are arranged to fasten the at least one component to the supporting body. A simplified installation results if a first section of the supporting body, which is provided to fasten at least one component, is separated from the remaining supporting body along two separate slots, where both slots begin at an outer edge of the supporting body and end at a connection region at a distance from the outer edge, via which the first section is connected to the remaining supporting body.
Abstract: A method for monitoring a subsystem installed in a motor vehicle involves a diagnostic unit checking the subsystem for system errors at least during driving cycles of the motor vehicle, the check being carried out for an occurrence as well as for a correction of a system error. The diagnostic unit carries out a misuse assessment based on a frequency of detection of the occurrence and/or the correction of the system error in order to determine whether the detected occurrence and/or the detected correction of the system error is/are based on misuse. If occurrence of the system error is detected, a restricted operating mode is activated or an activated restricted operating mode is continued in which drivability of the vehicle is restricted after a predefinable number of driving cycles has elapsed or after a predefinable travel distance has passed without the correction of the system error being detected.
Abstract: A wiper blade arrangement having an attachment element that holds a wiper blade, which can be secured on a wiper arm of a windscreen wiper system of a vehicle. The wiper blade is coupleable via the attachment element to at least one channel for washer fluid, which can be introduced from the wiper arm into the attachment element. The attachment element allows a relative movement of the wiper blade with respect to the wiper arm. For this, the attachment element has a rider designed for holding a spring strip of the wiper blade, which includes a wiper-arm-side upper part and a wiper-blade-side lower part, which are connected to each other via a central part of the rider, which encloses at least one line for the washer fluid, wherein the central part has greater elasticity than the upper part and the lower part of the rider.
