Abstract: A motor vehicle steering system is disclosed. The system includes a steering spindle consisting of spindle members which are non-rotatably connected to one another. One end of a spindle member has a spline shaft profile and is introduced into a sleeve-like intermediate piece which is arranged on the other spindle member and, on the inner periphery, has a negative-shaped spline shaft profile with respect to the spline shaft profile such that the spindle member is plug-connected to the intermediate piece. In order for the spindle members to be able to be connected to each other with minimal effort even in the event of visual inaccessibility, a circumferential guide contour pointing toward the intermediate piece is formed on the spindle member. The guide contour is upstream of the spline shaft profile toward the intermediate piece and is perforated by grooves of the spline shaft profile to form convex guide segments.

Abstract: The degradation associated with repeated startup and shutdown of solid polymer electrolyte fuel cells comprising PtCo alloy cathode catalysts can be particularly poor. However, a marked and unexpected improvement in durability is observed as a result of incorporating a selectively conducting component in electrical series with the anode components in the fuel cell.

Abstract: The invention discloses a steering column arrangement that has a steering spindle and a casing tube enclosing the steering spindle, which may be mounted to be rotatable about a longitudinal axis relative to the casing tube, and also has a switch module, which has a housing and a fastening sleeve provided on the housing. The fastening sleeve is designed such that the switch module with the fastening sleeve can be mounted on the casing tube and can be securely clamped to the casing tube. The casing tube on an outer circumferential surface has at least one radial projection, and the fastening sleeve on an inner circumferential surface has at least one extending guide groove when viewed in the longitudinal direction. The radial projection engages the guide groove when the switch module is mounted on the casing tube.

The radiator trim and the bumper have at least one fastening part respectively, via which the radiator trim and the bumper are fastened on the front-end carrier by an allocated fastening element, preferably formed by a screw element. A connection element is provided on the fastening part of the radiator trim, the connection element being connected to a corresponding receiver of the fastening part of the bumper to form a mutual fastening device via which the radiator trim and the bumper are fastened on the front-end carrier by the fastening element.
Abstract: A wear-resistant coating made from an iron alloy composition on brake disc brake surfaces is disclosed. The wear-resistant coating has 0.5 to 2% by weight C, 3 to 13% by weight Al and a residual portion of Fe supplementing the 100% by weight. A method for coating the brake disc is also disclosed.
Abstract: A method for coating a substrate in which a wire-like spray material based on iron is melted in an electric arc and is isolated as a layer on the substrate is disclosed. The following alloy components are contained in the spray material: carbon: 0.1% by weight to 0.3% by weight; manganese: 1.5% by weight to 2.0% by weight; and silicon: 0.25% by weight to 0.4% by weight, respectively with regard to a total weight. The substrate is an aluminium alloy and the surface thereof is roughened mechanically before the coating in such a way that a roughness is formed with undercuts which are filled with the spray material over the course of the coating and therefore a cause a mechanical interlocking of the coating with the substrate. The coating is removed on the surface. An electric arc wire sprayed layer based on iron on the substrate is also disclosed.
