Abstract: An independent wheel suspension for motor vehicles is provided, especially for passenger motor vehicles with a wheel carrier which is pivotally connected at an upper guide member and at a lower guide member and which has a fixed pivot axis with respect to one of the two guide members. This fixed pivot axis is determined by the point of pivotal connection of the wheel carrier at the one guide member and a point of pivotal connection of a coupler at the one guide member, whereby the coupler together with a rod pivotally connected on the side of the body forms the other guide member; the second one of the points of pivotal connection of the wheel carrier at the guide members which determine the steering axis, is thereby coordinated to the two guide members.
Abstract: A steering head for a bicycle comprises a mounting shaft having a lower end secured to the forward end of the main bicycle frame, the mounting shaft projecting upwardly from the forward frame end. A bearing sleeve is rigid with the fork head of the front wheel fork of the bicycle and is rotatably mounted on the mounting shaft.
Abstract: The device is provided in a two-wheeled vehicle comprising a tubular steering head, a tubular fork shaft rotatably mounted in said tubular steering head and having a shell aperture, two fork blades, upper and lower fork bridges firmly connecting said fork blades to said fork shaft, and a steering lock having a bolt and operable to move said bolt into said tubular fork shaft through said shell opening to said locking position, and out of said tubular fork shaft. A rod is longitudinally slidably mounted in said tubular fork shaft and has a lower end portion which is enlarged in width and extends under said bolt when the latter is in said locking position. A hook is secured to said lock and movable therewith between a lower position, in which said hook cooperates with said upper fork bridge to form a closed latch therewith, and an upper position, in which said hook is spaced above said upper fork bridge.
Abstract: An anchoring arrangement of an end point or deflection point of a safety belt, especially in motor vehicles, under interposition of a spring at a fixed vehicle part; the spring is installed prestressed in the sense of a tightening of the belt band and is blocked in the normal driving operation in this position while the blocking is released by a force peak exceeding the prestress force of the spring which occurs at the beginning of an accident at the belt band.
Abstract: A pneumatic spring for vehicles which spring includes two supports as well as at least one closed spring volume and two differently sized spring areas which are subjected to a pressure acting in opposite directions. The two spring surfaces are separated from one another and are variable in size as a function of the travel of the pneumatic spring, two roll bellows are arranged in a casing of the pneumatic spring with opposite spring surfaces of the bellows being supported upon connected spring pistons. The supports are formed, on the one hand, by the spring pistons and, on the other hand, by a casing associated with the walls of the roll bellows. Partial volumes are defined by the roll bellows with the partial volumes being separated from one another so as to maintain the respective volumes essentially independent of the travel of the pneumatic spring.
Abstract: An installation for the continuous measurement of the fuel consumption of internal combustion engines, in which a fuel-metering member predetermining with its position the through-put fuel quantity as a function of displacement. A preferably electrical displacement pick-up is coupled with the fuel-metering member which produces an analog signal corresponding to the deflection of the fuel-metering member from its normal position while an instrument for the indication of the signal is arranged within the field of vision of the operating person.

Abstract: A combustion chamber having an end-wall at the inlet side and an axial inlet opening, which is adjoined by an essentially cylindrical wall section provided with secondary air inlet openings; the end-wall thereby adjoins the inlet opening approximately hemispherically shaped with a sphere diameter which is larger than the diameter of the cylindrical wall section while the adjoining combustion chamber portion is again reduced to the adjacent cylindrical wall section by way of a combustion chamber wall substantially continuing the sphere shape; the fuel injection device is provided upstream of the inlet opening which injects fuel into the inlet opening, itself covered off by a deflection means.
Abstract: An installation for the metered lubrication of an injection pump flangedly connected to an internal combustion engine, in which the cam shaft is driven by an intermediate gear shaft non-rotatably connected therewith, which is rotatably supported in the crankcase of the internal combustion engine on two slide bearings and which is lubricated from a connection with a lubricating oil channel of the internal combustion engine; at least one of the slide bearings of the intermediate gear shaft is constructed in conjunction with the same as metering device; the metered lubricating oil, after leaving the slide bearing, is supplied by way of a sealed space formed at the connecting place between the cam shaft and the intermediate gear shaft, to a central bore through the cam shaft of the injection pump, from where the lubricating oil reaches the injection pump through a radial bore.
Abstract: A primary pump drive for automatic motor vehicle transmissions, in which the primary pump is adapted to be driven directly from the input and is arranged with its axis parallel to the input axis. The pump is constructed as an internally toothed pump and its internally toothed wheel is provided with teeth at the external circumference thereof, into which engage the teeth of a gear connected with the input.

Abstract: A gear comprises a hub and a gear ring mounted thereon, each formed with peripherally spaced apertures and interlocking elements extending peripherally between adjacent apertures to hold the hub and gear ring against axial movement relative to each other. The apertures of the hub and gear ring register. Torque is transmitted between the hub and gear ring by a plurality of first abutments on the hub which have radially outwardly facing surfaces adjoining respective apertures therein, a plurality of second abutments on the gear ring which have radially inwardly facing surfaces adjoining respective apertures therein and radially aligned with respective outwardly facing surfaces, and a plurality of prestressed elastomeric spring elements disposed in the registering apertures. Each spring element engages the radially aligned surfaces and is retained in the apertures by a retaining disc secured to the hub and engaging the spring element on one side of the gear.
