Abstract: A self-locking differential gear for motor vehicles with locking devices for automatically locking the differential gear, which are coordinated to each driven gear; a mechanism in the form of a torque scale is thereby coordinated to each driven gear which in case of a force equilibrium, retains the respective locking device in its ineffectual position and transfers the same automatically into its effective position during a disturbance of this equilibrium.
Abstract: To securely avoid any gap formation between a ring mount barrier and adjoining parts of the floor of an articulated vehicle such as a bus, a safety cover construction is carried by a turntable coupling for supporting the ring mount barrier. The safety cover construction has a U-shaped transverse cross-section defining a receiving space for receiving a lower end of the ring mount barrier with upper free ends of legs of the U-shaped cross-section in engagement therewith. The safety cover construction is formed of an elastic material, such as rubber or synthetic plastic, and thus is able to remain in engagement with the ring mount barrier despite changes in pitch and bending angles between portions of the vehicle articulated by the turntable coupling. To further assist in retaining the upper ends of the legs in engagement with the ring mount barrier, according to a preferred embodiment, a spring steel reinforcement may be embedded within the legs.
Abstract: A process and arrangement for introducing a material such as a foam into automobile body cavities for at least one of noise insulation or increased rigidity. The cavities may be provided with open spaces or be adapted to only be partially filled with the foam. A bag is initially introduced into the cavity with the bag being provided with a filler opening. The volume capacity of the bag corresponds approximately to the volume of the automobile body cavity or a portion of the body cavity which is to be filled with the foam. A mixture of expandable components is introduced into the bag and, following an expansion reaction or a setting, the foam fully fills the bag.

The valve needle is liftable in a direction opposite a flow direction effective in the injection process by hydraulic pressure of the fuel to be injected. Pressure chambers having a diameter larger than the respective valve seats are provided and communicate by way of appropriate ducts which merge to form a common flow cross-section. At least two separate line connectors are provided for receiving separate fuels and/or fuel components with the line connectors directing the fuels and/or fuel components to the respective pressure chambers.
Abstract: A motor vehicle adapted to be used on tracks, especially for the public local passenger traffic, with a steerable vehicle axle and with at least one non-steerable vehicle axle and with track-determining cross-guide rollers arranged on both sides of the vehicle which are provided at least within the area of the steerable wheels and are supported near the end points of mounting arms that are relatively fixed; a force-measuring device for determining the cross-guide force is provided in the mounting or bearing support of at least one of the cross-guide rollers of each vehicle wheel while a brake pressure medium valve is adapted to be influenced by the force-measuring device in such a manner that a brake deceleration is automatically initiated when the vehicle exceeds a threshold value of the cross-guide force.
