Abstract: A method for charging an energy store in a motor vehicle by inductive energy transmission from an energy transmission unit to the motor vehicle is disclosed. The energy transmission unit can be anchored in a stationary manner on an accessible surface and is part of an inductive charging station. A communication channel is constructed between the inductive charging station and the motor vehicle for the purpose of preparing for and/or carrying out charging of the energy store. The inductive charging station provides a light signal which is to be perceived by a driver of the motor vehicle and which is not transmitted via the communication channel for signaling the readiness for charging the energy store. A charging system is also disclosed.
Abstract: A multistage transmission, in particular for a motor vehicle, is provided at least structurally for selecting at least twelve forward transmission gears with different step-up ratios. This multistage transmission has four operatively interconnected planetary gear stages, a transmission input shaft for attaching to an internal combustion engine, a transmission output shaft, for attaching to drive wheels, four clutch units, each of which includes two clutch elements, and three brake units, each of which includes one clutch element.
Abstract: In a rotor of an electric machine, which rotor consists of individual segments which each have a first part which is in contact with a second cooperating part wherein the first part of an individual segment and the second cooperating part of an adjacent individual segment are positively interlocked in the radial and circumferential directions resulting in a self-supporting annular structure of the assembled rotor. The individual sections have openings accommodating permanent magnets which are fixed in the openings by wall sections bent into the openings during assembly of the segments for fixing the permanent magnets in the openings as the individual segments are joined to form a ring.
Abstract: A compressed gas container is disclosed. The compressed gas container has a single one-piece casing surrounding a storage volume and includes a matrix material and reinforcing fibers. The composition of the matrix material between the region of the single one-piece casing facing the storage volume and the region of the single one-piece casing facing the surroundings of the single one-piece casing changes at least once. A method for manufacturing a compressed gas container is also disclosed.
Abstract: A grille for a vehicle is disclosed. The grille is configured to be arranged in front of at least one heat exchanger of the vehicle and includes a plurality of grille bars arranged at a distance from one other. A respective portion of each of the plurality of grille bars is airfoil-shaped.

Abstract: A method for operating a combustion engine is disclosed. In an embodiment, the method includes: generating several sparks to ignite a fuel-air mixture in a combustion chamber by an ignition device of the combustion engine, determining a combustion duration of at least one of the sparks, detecting a deviation of an actual operation from a target operation of the combustion engine at least depending on the combustion duration, compensating for the deviation by implementing at least one measure which influences a combustion of the fuel-air mixture in the combustion chamber, determining the combustion duration of the chronological first of the sparks, allocating the first spark to a first spark type or to a second spark type depending on the combustion duration, and implementing the at least one measure if at least one value which characterizes a frequency of one of the spark types exceeds a threshold value.

Abstract: A method for supplying air to a fuel cell (2), using a controllable air conveying device (7) which delivers an air mass flow for a cathode chamber (4) of the fuel cell (2), and using at least one air mass flow sensor (9, 18). The invention is characterized in that, for at least one location (19) in the air flow path which is situated at a distance from the at least one air mass flow sensor (9) in the flow direction, a computed estimate is made of the air mass flow present at that location.
Abstract: In an exhaust gas flow control system for an internal combustion engine, with a first exhaust gas duct and a second exhaust gas duct, through both of which exhaust gas from the internal combustion engine can flow to a turbine of an exhaust gas turbocharger with an exhaust gas recirculation line branching off the first exhaust gas duct, a shut-off element is provided which is adjustable between a closed position in which exhaust gas is prevented from flowing into the exhaust gas recirculation line and directing it via a communication passage into the second exhaust gas duct, and at least a first open position in which exhaust gas is directed out of the first exhaust gas duct into the exhaust gas recirculation line while blocking the communication passage between the first and second exhaust gas ducts and a second open position wherein both the first and the second exhaust gas ducts as well as the communication passage between the two ducts is open but the recirculation line is closed.
Abstract: A system for controlling an access authorization and/or driving authorization for a vehicle includes at least one mobile communication device and a control unit in the vehicle that receives and checks authorization data sent from the mobile communication device.
