Abstract: An air filter for a ventilation device of a motor vehicle is disclosed. The air filter has a planar extension along which the air filter is able to be inserted into a flow area of the ventilation device transversely relative to a flow direction and has a filter medium arranged along its planar extension. The filter medium is bordered at least in certain regions by at least one frame wall. The frame wall has at least one section which is able to be brought into engagement with guide elements of the ventilation device in order to guide the air filter during insertion into the flow area. The section is a notch on an edge of the frame wall and is formed with an undercut relative to the edge such that the air filter is able to be braced transversely relative to the insertion direction during insertion in two directions.
Abstract: A compressed gas tank (1) made from carbon fibre materials, which has a filling and removal neck, and a method for the production thereof, with the following steps: providing a meltable core, which forms an interior of the compressed gas tank (1), wrapping the core with at least one carbon fibre bandage and impregnating the carbon fibres with a curable polymer matrix material, thereby providing a preform of the compressed gas tank (1), consolidating the polymer matrix material of the preform and obtaining the carbon fibre composite compressed gas tank (1), and liquefying the core material by melting, and removing the liquid core material from the filling and removal neck.
Abstract: A method for adjusting the temperature of an exhaust gas aftertreatment device is disclosed. A first characteristic temperature value for an oxidative carbon monoxide conversion and a second characteristic temperature value for an oxidative hydrocarbon conversion are assigned to an oxidation catalytic converter, and a third characteristic temperature value for a reductive NOx conversion is assigned to an SCR catalytic converter. Different respective values for injection parameters of injection processes for fuel injections into combustion chambers of the internal combustion engine and/or the heating output of an electric heating element are set upon reaching the first and the second characteristic temperature values for the temperature of the oxidation catalytic converter and upon reaching the third characteristic temperature value for the temperature of the SCR catalytic converter.
Abstract: A method for processing measured values two nitrogen oxide sensors, one of which is arranged upstream of a nitrogen oxide reduction catalytic converter in the exhaust gas system of a motor vehicle and the other of which is arranged downstream of the nitrogen oxide reduction catalytic converter, involves recording and comparing measured values from the two nitrogen oxide sensors at least approximately at the same time. A sensitivity of the first nitrogen oxide sensor and/or of the second nitrogen oxide sensor is changed depending on the result of the comparison.

Abstract: An exhaust gas aftertreatment device for a combustion engine includes an exhaust gas guide element that includes a dosage device for introducing a reduction agent into the guide element at a feed point and at least one interference element arranged upstream of the feed point, that introduces turbulences into the exhaust gas flow that is intermixed with the reduction agent. The guide element also includes a first guide portion, through which exhaust gas flows in a first flow direction, and a second guide portion, through which exhaust gas flows in a second flow direction that is opposite to the first flow direction. The first and second guide portions are fluidically connected with each other via a third guide portion, which redirects the exhaust gas from the first flow direction into the second flow direction. The feed point and the interference element are arranged in the third guide portion.

The mixing device includes swirl tube, a mixing tube arranged in the swirl tube, and an exhaust gas supply tube leading into the swirl tube such that exhaust gas can enter the swirl tube tangentially from the exhaust gas supply tube through a cut-out opening in the lateral surface of the swirl tube and forms a flow rotating around the mixing tube. The exhaust gas completely enters the mixing tube and leaves the interior of the swirl tube completely through the mixing tube. A metering device can spray urea solution into the swirl tube such that the urea solution enters the mixing tube and is entrained by the rotating flow of the exhaust gas and is discharged from the swirl tube through the mixing tube together with the exhaust gas.

Abstract: A method for starting a motor vehicle with a fuel cell system for providing electrical drive power in the vehicle is disclosed. A starting procedure can be started by a remote control unit independently of the presence of the user in the immediate vicinity of the vehicle. The starting procedure only takes place by the remote control unit if a start signal from the remote control unit exists, and if simultaneously a sensed temperature in the vehicle, the fuel cell system and/or the surroundings of the vehicle is below a predetermined temperature threshold value.

The electrically conductive matrix includes nanoscale, tubular structures made from silicon. Abstract: A method for operating an exhaust gas purification system of a motor vehicle internal combustion engine is disclosed. The system has an SCR catalyst where a reducing agent containing ammonia is metered into the exhaust gas at a predeterminable metering rate which is produced from a base value and an adaptation factor which corrects the base value. A test procedure checks and, if appropriate, adjusts the adaptation factor where a first nitrogen oxide value is compared with a second nitrogen oxide value of the exhaust gas, where the first and the second nitrogen oxide value are determined by the same nitrogen oxide sensor disposed downstream of the SCR catalyst. The first nitrogen oxide value is determined when the metering of the reducing agent is switched off and the second nitrogen oxide value is determined when the reducing agent is metered at a test metering rate which can be predetermined.

The brake disc includes a substrate, in particular a grey cast iron substrate, at least one friction surface formed on the substrate and at least one cover layer applied at least to the at least one friction surface. Abstract: A separator for an electrochemical storage system, which is arrangeable between an anode and a cathode of the electrochemical storage system, is disclosed. The separator is formed from a semipermeable carrier material. The carrier material is formed from a fiberglass fleece where at least one surface side of the fiberglass fleece facing a cathode is modified in such a way that it is impermeable for an active material of the cathode. A method for the production of a separator is also disclosed.
