Abstract: In a method for determining the exhaust-gas recirculation quantity for an internal combustion engine having exhaust-gas recirculation, a basic quantity of a gas mixture inducted into the engine combustion chamber(s) is determined in advance, as well as a basic pressure and/or a basic temperature of the gas mixture for at least one predefinable basic state of the combustion engine at deactivated exhaust-gas recirculation is ascertained. With the engine running, pressure and/or temperature of the inducted gas mixture are/is then determined for the current engine state at activated exhaust-gas recirculation. The currently inducted gas-mixture quantity as the basic quantity is then corrected by at least the ratio of current pressure to basic pressure of the gas mixture and/or the ratio of basic temperature to current temperature of the gas mixture.

Abstract: A transport (1) or an associated trailer (2) with a loadable swap body (3, 4) having a support frame and support legs (5) attached to the frame and moveable between a resting position and a support position wherein that the swap body (3, 4) can be set on the ground without the transport/trailer. At least one support leg (5) is allocated an element (6, 16) for automatically moving the support leg (5) from the resting position into the support position and/or vice versa. A control device (8, 10, 11) disposed on the transport/trailer (1, 2) transmits a control signal to an actuating element (17, 18, 19, 20), secured to the transport/trailer (1, 2), that cooperates with the support leg (5) to move the leg into the support or resting position, and the control device (8, 10, 11) is connected to at least one further locking actuator for determining whether the swap body (3, 4) is secured to the transport during travel.
Abstract: In a device for establishing noise in a motor vehicle, including a housing having an inlet space, which is in communication via an inlet line with a gas-carrying part of an internal combustion engine arranged in the motor vehicle, and an outlet space, which is acoustically coupled by means of an outlet line to an interior space of the vehicle or the space surrounding the vehicle, the inlet space is separated from the outlet space at least by an acoustically substantially inactive wall. Arranged inside the housing is a sound transmission device, which has vibratable elements, one arranged in the inlet space and onother arranged in the outlet space and connected to each other by a curved connecting element, which is mounted on the acoustically inactive wall, for the transmission of sounds introduced through the inlet line into the inlet space to the outlet space.
Abstract: A method for assisting the driver of a vehicle (10) during a driving maneuver such as, for example, a parking or positioning maneuver. In such a case, a reference trajectory (16) along which the vehicle (10) is to be moved is determined. A steering wheel position which is to be set and which steers the vehicle along the reference trajectory (16) is indicated to the driver during the driving maneuver. A steering angle deviation between the actual steering angle which is actually set by the driver and the setpoint steering angle which corresponds to the requested steering wheel position is corrected independently of the driver.

Abstract: In a motor vehicle having an internal combustion engine which has an automatic start/stop device, and a controllable brake device at the start of and during an automatic stop phase, the effect of a braking torque which is greater than a threshold value is ensured. For this purpose, the brake device can increase the braking torque. The threshold value is previously calculated in such a way that the motor vehicle is reliably prevented from rolling away. As a result, the internal combustion engine can be stopped frequently and at the same time unintentional rolling away of the motor vehicle during the stop phase can be avoided.

Abstract: A device and a method for comparing calculations for product components used in different product types. According to the invention, a list of product types, a list of parts valid for all product types, a database comprising descriptions of structural parts and a database comprising calculations for the components is used. The descriptions and calculations relate to one component each on the list of parts and are specific of one product type each. Once a component is input, all descriptions and calculations for said component are determined and compared with each other. Said comparison allows to find the technical reasons for the differences in the calculations for the same component in different product types.
