  • Patent number: 8397755
Abstract: A coupler having a stop valve, in which one of the connectors comprises a cylindrical wall, and a fixed shaft arranged along an axis of the cylindrical wall. A valve seat is arranged around the fixed shaft, and the valve seat is tapered to widen a diameter thereof. A cylindrical valve element is fitted onto the fixed shaft to slide in its axial direction while being pushed by an elastic member, and an inner circumferential face of the valve element is tapered to be congruent with the taper of the valve seat. An engagement portion which is diametrically larger than the leading end portion of the valve element is formed on the outer circumferential face of the valve element at an intermediate portion. Another connector comprises a cylindrical portion. A pushing portion is formed at an end of the cylindrical portion for pushing the valve element at the engagement portion.

  • Publication number: 20130048755
Abstract: A foam dispensing pump container having a suction inlet capable of introducing a large amount of external air while preventing ingress of water and foam certainly. In the foam dispensing pump container, a suction inlet 45 is opened to an opposite side of a discharging outlet 43 of the nozzle member 4. The suction inlet 45 is communicated with an air course formed between an inner cylinder 41 and an outer cylinder 42 through a through hole 46. A skirt shaped cover portion 47 is formed to extend downwardly from an outer circumferential edge of the ceiling of the nozzle member 4 to a level lower than the suction inlet 45. In order to divide and shut off an inner space of the skirt shaped cover portion 47 (i.e., a space between an inner face of the cover portion 47 and the outer cylinder 42), at least one pair of partitions 49 are formed on both sides of the suction inlet 45 in the circumferential direction of the nozzle member 4.

  • Publication number: 20120267534
Abstract: A method for inspecting sealing defects of a container using infrared light. Infrared light in a wavelength range of 1450 nm±20 nm is irradiated from a phototransmitter onto the sealed portion of a sample container. Infrared light reflected from or transmitted through the sealed portion of the sample container is received by a photoreceiver, and transmitted to a photodetector through an optical fiber. The infrared light in a same wavelength range as the case of inspecting the sample container is irradiated onto the sealed portion of a container to be inspected. The infrared light reflected from or transmitted through the sealed portion of the inspected container is converted into the analog voltage value and transmitted to a controller. If the infrared light is reduced to be smaller than a threshold set on the basis of the sample container, the sealed portion of the inspected container is judged as a sealing defect.

  • Publication number: 20120205363
Abstract: A canned product heating apparatus includes: a non-contact type temperature detecting element which is not in contact with a surface of a can container; a directional microphone oriented to a closure of the can container; an interrupting circuit which interrupts an electrical supply to a high-frequency induction heating coil based on a signal transmitted from the directional microphone. The electrical supply to the high-frequency induction heating coil is stopped by the interrupting circuit in case the directional microphone captures sonic waves within a predetermined range.

  • Patent number: 8181814
Abstract: To ensure sealing ability of a resealable can container formed of a welded can body between a curled portion of container mouth and a resin sealing liner, without degrading productivity and easiness to open the closure. The can body 2 is prepared by rolling a steel sheet and welding overlapped longitudinal edges of the steel sheet. In order to achieve the above-mentioned objective, a level difference of a welded portion 2a on the surface of a curled portion 21a is reduced smaller than that on the trunk portion 22, specifically, kept within the range of 15 to 100 ?m, and a durometer hardness of the resin sealing liner is kept within the range of HDA 30 to 70 according to ISO 868 (or JIS-K7215).

  • Patent number: 7628342
Abstract: A liquefied gas dispensing nozzle having a cylinder with its axis in a vertical direction, and a plug to be inserted into the cylinder from above as its main elements. A plurality of slit portions for letting through the liquefied gas are formed in parallel in an axial direction of the cylinder from the upper end to the lower end in an inner circumferential face of the cylinder contacting to an outer circumferential face of the plug. A width of at least one or more pair of mutually opposed slit portions is generally constant from its upper end to lower end and its slit bottom is inclined so that the depth of the slit becomes gradually shallower from upper end to lower end. Each slit portion of the cylinder is closed with the plug when the plug, which is movable vertically relative to the cylinder, reaches the lowest end position. A rounded portion formed by rounding a corner portion of the lower end of the slit portion includes an inclined slit bottom.
