  • Patent number: 11286642
Abstract: An energy conserving hydraulic system for a mobile work machine includes a prime mover, a drivetrain, a baseline hydraulic system, a power-take-off, a transformer, a work implement, and an accumulator. The drivetrain may include an automated manual transmission (AMT) that is rotationally coupled to the prime mover and the power-take-off. The baseline hydraulic system is powered by the prime mover and includes a first hydraulic circuit. The transformer is hydraulically coupled to second and third hydraulic circuits. The work implement is actuated by an actuator that is adapted to be simultaneously hydraulically coupled to the first and the second hydraulic circuits. The power-take-off is adapted to exchange shaft power with the transmission. A clutch selectively rotationally couples the transmission and the power-take-off. The accumulator is hydraulically coupled to the second hydraulic circuit.

  • Patent number: 11286960
Abstract: A method for controlling a hydraulic actuator (2) of a system (1) by means of a valve having a valve element is described. A position of the valve element determines a pressure supplied to a hydraulic actuator (2). In such a method a variable dead band should be minimized. To this end a start position of the valve element is preadjusted as a function of at least one parameter outside the hydraulic actuator (2).

  • Patent number: 11280354
Abstract: A hydraulic system includes first and second valve assemblies connected to a common pump. The first valve assembly includes a main valve housed inside a manifold. A pressure compensator valve maintains a constant pressure drop across a variable orifice of the main valve. A pressure limiter valve is in communication with the main valve and the pressure compensator valve, and allows an actuator connected to the first valve assembly to operate independently of the second valve assembly so that fluid flow to a work port of the first valve assembly is not interrupted by operation of the second valve assembly.

  • Patent number: 11268499
Abstract: Displacement control device for variably adjusting the displacement of an axial piston hydraulic pump including a rotary shaft rotatable around a shaft axis. A torque can be applied for rotating the rotary shaft to open and close servo pressure lines to adjust the displacement volume of the axial piston hydraulic pump. Concentric to the shaft axis in a mid-portion of the rotary shaft a detent sleeve is positioned having an abutment area onto which, in the neutral position, a sliding element abuts. The detent sleeve, in operating conditions is rotatably fixed with the rotary shaft and turns with the rotary shaft and for neutral position adjustments in non-operating conditions, the detent sleeve and the rotary shaft are detachable from each other such that the rotary shaft can be turned relative and independently within the detent sleeve, which is held in its neutral position by the sliding element.

  • Patent number: 11215649
Abstract: An electric power system comprises recording devices (101-105) located at different elements of the electric power system and configured to record waveform samples of quantities related to operation of the elements of the electric power system. The electric power system comprises a central device (106) configured to receive the recorded waveform samples from the recording devices. The recording devices are synchronized to maintain a common clock time and to associate, to each of the recorded waveform samples, one or more timing values indicative of the clock time during recording the waveform sample. As the timing values are associated to the waveform samples, it is possible to reconstruct a time order of phenomena indicated by the recorded waveform samples. Thus, it is possible to identify which of the phenomena are causes and which are consequences when analyzing for example what happened prior to a fault situation.
