Abstract: A lunchbox including a wedge-shaped tray and a similarly configured wedge shaped cover positionable thereover in reversible end to end positions to form different internal space configurations. Latch assemblies locking the cover to the tray in each position. Both latch assemblies being completely disengageable. Alternatively, one latch assembly can remain engaged to define a hinge assembly for pivotal movement of the cover.

Abstract: A multiple purpose kitchen implement including a flat sheet arcuately formed along a longitudinal center line and provided with an arcuate cutting blade defined at one longitudinal end and a beaded handle defined at the opposite longitudinal end. The opposed side edges of the sheet include projecting teeth with the teeth along one edge being approximately twice the height of the teeth along the opposite edge. A mounting opening is provided through the sheet transversely thereof and closer to the handle end than the blade end. The mounting opening includes an inner arcuate edge and an outer arcuate edge with a projecting lip for respective engagement with inner and outer surfaces of a bowl to mount the implement thereto.
Abstract: A condiment shaker including a hollow body with an enlarged opening therethrough receiving a pivotally mounted lid for rocking between a closed position and a dispensing position. In the dispensing position, slots through the lid flange are open and provide transverse dispensing passages. Lugs on the container body align with the slots and move through the length thereof as the lid is closed. The lid is positively positioned and releasably retained in each of the two positions by cooperating abutment areas and a complementary protuberance and recess respectively on the container body and the lid.
Abstract: A kit comprising a lunchbox and a carrying pouch slidably receiving the lunchbox therein. The lunchbox includes a container and cover with the cover including a recess receiving eating utensils. One eating utensil includes a projecting locking button releasably received within a pouch aperture for locking the lunchbox and utensils within the pouch. The pouch includes a spring member outwardly biasing a received lunchbox for ejection upon release of the lock button.
Abstract: A container closure assembly comprising a rigid lid and a separately formed flexibly resilient sealing member mounted to the lid and moveable with the lid between closed and open positions relative to the container. Rocking lugs are integrally formed with either the lid or the seal member for a rocking of the lid to an open position for removal from the container. Cooperating positioning lugs are provided to position the closed lid, with seal member, relative to the container mouth.

Abstract: A condiment grinder including a grinding mechanism with an adjustment shaft extending therefrom and mounting both a positioning ring for rotational driving of the shaft and an adjustment nut for longitudinal adjustment of the shaft and the coarseness of the grind. A single knob engages the positioning ring and adjustment nut for simultaneous rotational driving of the positioning ring and nut, and for independent rotation of the adjustment nut to effect control of the operation of the grinder with a single knob.

Abstract: A mixing bowl of generally arcuate configuration and including laterally spaced stabilizing ribs extending along the outer surface thereof between the base and a mouth-defining rim. The ribs, upon an inclination of the bowl, continuously define a laterally extending support plane. The interior of the bowl is of a hard smooth material while the exterior thereof is of a non-slip friction-enhancing material. The open mouth of the bowl is surrounded by an outwardly flaring rim with a grip-enhancing undersurface.

Abstract: A container closure comprising a rigid lid and a separably formed flexibly resilient seal mounted thereto. The lid includes a top panel with a depending annular flange. The seal includes a solid central panel with an upwardly directed integral flange peripherally thereabout and receiving the lid flange. The seal flange mounts opposed pivot points engageable with the upper edge of a container and defining a pivot axis. A positioning rib extends peripherally about the seal flange between the pivot points for seated engagement on the upper edge of the container.

Abstract: A seal for a container having an outwardly directed annular rim. The seal includes a top panel with a central section and an annular lever section integrally joined to the central section by a living hinge. A side wall integrally depends from the outer periphery of the lever section and includes an inwardly directed concavity for receiving the rim edge. A continuous convexity below the concavity provides for a snap-mounting of the seal to the container rim and a vertical skirt below the convexity provides for a guide for mounting the seal. A fulcrum rib depends from the undersurface of the lever section and engages the container rim on a depression of the top panel at the hinge to swing the side wall away from the rim. Vent openings are provided through both the fulcrum rib and the convexity to maintain pressure release air flow as the seal is mounted and removed.

Abstract: A sorting device including an open top container with an invertible sorting member mounted thereover. The sorting member includes multiple funnel-shaped passages therethrough each having, at one end, an enlarged opening and at the second truncated end a specifically configured opening of a size to closely receive and pass therethrough only a correspondingly configured block introduced in either direction through the configured opening.
