Abstract: A thin resilient plastic preform is provided for suspending a shampoo tube or the like having an elongated bottom sealing flange from a hook, showerhead, or faucet handle. The preform includes a tube attachment portion and a hanger portion. The hanger portion is adapted to engage conveniently located objects protruding from the shower wall and can comprise intersecting slits or a cut-out area in the plastic or a handle means. The tube attachment portion is an elongated straight cut through the plastic having a length about equal to the tube body width, but less than the length of the tube bottom sealing flange.
Abstract: A filled polypropylene composition having excellent flame retardance is prepared by blending polypropylene resin with chlorinated paraffin hydrocarbon, chlorinated polyethylene, antimony oxide and alumina trihydrate.
Abstract: A support block is affixed to the sidewall of a cooking utensil cover. The block is provided with a slot across its outer face adapted to engage the top rim of the utensil. The slot is oriented in the block to cause the cover to assume an approximate upright position over the utensil when the slot is engaged with the utensil rim.
Abstract: The catalyst stream used for regulating high pressure polymerization reactions of monoolefins such as ethylene can be supplied in a positive, clean and accurately controllable fashion by delivering it through a separate conduit which terminates in an orifice tip located within and substantially coplanar with the entry port of the monomer stream into the reaction zone. The subject technique simplifies start-up as well as maintenance of good temperature control throughout the polymerization process.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to collector electrodes for electrostatic precipitators and particularly to generally annular in cross section hollow cylindrical collector electrodes having a pair of spaced concentric wall structures with a filler means disposed therebetween, the filler means being a lightweight filler means and hermetically sealed in and between said wall structures. The disclosure also relating to fixture means in the lower ends of the hollow cylindrical collector electrodes, the fixture means comprising internally screw threaded openings in blocks secured or fixed to the lower ends of the collector electrode so as to provide for the use of screw threaded bolts for securing the lower ends of the collector electrode structures in juxtaposition. The disclosure also relating to modifications and/or various species of the lightweight filler means between the inner and outer walls of the collector electrode.
Abstract: A versatile toy suitable for use as a rolling or floating vehicle and including body axle and wheel parts that are capable of being interrelated one with another in a plurality of ways to create varying embodiments. The unique interrelationships spoken of are, for the most part, capable of creation because similar sized openings and recesses are maintained within the toy body member such that the toy axles therefor conform thereto. Likewise, the wheel constructions include a plurality of similarly sized openings thereby allowing same to be used in a variety of ways in conjunction with the axles and body member.
Abstract: A propylene polymer composition having excellent affinity towards basic dyestuffs is produced by blending a propylene polymer with an alternating copolymer of an alkyl vinyl ether and maleic anhydride, the alkyl group of the alkyl vinyl ether containing at least 8 carbon atoms.
