The replacement unit includes a first sensor that detects first environmental information that is an ambient environment of the replacement unit, and a recording part that records the first environmental information as environmental history information, the apparatus main body includes a second sensor that detects second environmental information that is another ambient environment of the apparatus main body, and a control part that controls the replacement unit based on the environmental history information and the second environmental information, when the replacement unit is attached to the apparatus main body, the control part performs a return control based on the environmental history information, which is obtained before the replacement unit is attached, and the second environmental information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, devices, and computer-program products are described herein for providing dynamic content serving. The dynamic content serving technology can identify, in real-time, programming arriving at a client device, identify a specific media segment being received and/or displayed, and determine which pre-stored substitute media segment may be used to replace the identified segment. A picture-in-picture channel can be used to display the substitute media segment.

As the uniforming element, the partially reflective surface array is divided into a plurality of segments along a direction of propagating image light, and the inter-surface spacing of the partially reflective surfaces or the reflectivity of the partially reflective surfaces is configured to vary from segment to segment.

Abstract: A system obtains multiple x-ray measurements corresponding to different breathing phases of the lung by determining, based on a volumetric measurement of the patient's breathing, a breathing phase of the patient and gating an x-ray imaging apparatus to produce an x-ray projection of the patient's lung when the breathing phase matched any of a plurality of different breathing phases. The system extracts multiple displacement fields of lung tissue from the multiple x-ray measurements corresponding to different breathing. Each displacement field represents movement of the lung tissue from a first breathing phase to a second breathing phase and each breathing phase has a corresponding set of biometric parameters. The system calculates one or more biophysical parameters of a biophysical model of the lung using the multiple displacement fields of the lung tissue between different breathing phases of the lung and the corresponding sets of biometric parameters.

Abstract: Users of mobile devices communicate through a mobile gateway to a transaction processing system. The transaction processing system manages accounts, such as debit card accounts, for the users. The accounts include a main account for each user and sub accounts that are linked or related to the main account. Funds may be transferred between a main account and its linked sub accounts, including automatic funds transfer when a transaction (e.g., a payroll deposit from an employer or a debit transaction at a specified retailer) is made against the main account and meets certain parameters established by a user. Access to linked sub accounts is made through use of internal account IDs, rather than the account number of the main account.

Abstract: Systems and methods use a digital microform imaging apparatus for sensing an image mark on the microform containing the image of a document. The use of an area sensor with an adjustable region of interest can be used to improve the detection speed of image marks as a roll of microform is being transported.
