    Abstract: A sleeve for use with a percutaneous, external fixation device is disclosed, wherein the sleeve includes a sleeve body with an interior space in which the percutaneous device can be disposed, a flange that extends at a substantially perpendicular angle to the sleeve body, and a cutting edge extending from the sleeve body below the flange. The cutting edge is designed for placement in contact with the skin adjacent to the percutaneous device so as to define a leading edge thereof in a primary anticipated direction of migration of the percutaneous device. Kits and assemblies that include sleeves and percutaneous devices are also disclosed. Further disclosed are methods of reducing tension in a patient's skin following placement of the percutaneous device via use of the sleeve, as well as methods of adjusting and readjusting the assembly upon placement.

The variable angle locking hole allows a bone anchor having a threaded head to be driven into underlying bone while oriented at an angle with respect to a central hole axis of the hole that is within a range of angles at which the head is configured to threadedly mate with the at least one thread of the bone plate. Accordingly, the bone anchor can be driven into the underlying bone until the threaded head threadedly purchases with the bone plate inside the variable angle locking hole.

The implant includes a bridge defining a slot with a first end and a second end and first and second anchoring members extending from the bridge. The implant insertion device moves between a loaded position and an unloaded position. The implant insertion device in its loaded position inserts through the slot of the bridge and engages the bridge at the first and second ends of the slot such that the implant insertion device constrains the implant in its insertion shape. The implant insertion device in its unloaded position releases the implant.

    Abstract: Intrasaccular flow diverter including: an interior fill braid physically inverted over itself forming a proximal inverted end and an opposite free end; and a dome braid disposed distally of and secured to the interior fill braid. Subject to application of an external mechanical force, the dome braid is transitionable between an expanded state and a compressed state. The dome braid has a proximal end with an opening defined therein through which starting at the free end the interior fill braid is passable therethrough exerting a radially outward force on the dome braid. A delivery wire is releasably detachable from the proximal inverted end of the interior fill braid. The dome braid has a stiffer profile relative to that of the interior fill braid to maintain in position within the aneurysm the dome braid as the interior fill braid is advanced therein.

The carrier is configured to visibly present the reflective element of the marker in the socket when the carrier is disposed in the socket. The carrier can be configured to securely hold the marker to the array when the marker is disposed in the carrier and the carrier is disposed in the array such that the marker cannot be removed from the carrier unless the carrier is removed from the socket.

    Abstract: Devices can generally include a fan portion for occluding an aneurysm neck, a channel orifice opening in the fan portion, and an agent channel for delivering a coagulating agent through the orifice into the aneurysm. Devices can be delivered through a catheter to the aneurysm, the fan portion can expand to occlude the aneurysm neck, and coagulating agent can be injected into the aneurysm. During injection of the coagulating agent, the fan portion can inhibit the coagulating agent from exiting the aneurysm. After injection of the coagulation agent, the fan portion can collapse and the device can be extracted from the patient.

    Abstract: An example system for deploying an intrasaccular implant to occlude an aneurysm can include the intrasaccular implant with a securing ring thereon, a pusher, a securing wire with an extended securing feature thereon, and a pull wire. The system can be sized to be delivered intravascularly within a microcatheter. During delivery and manipulation of the implant, the securing ring can be held between the pusher and the securing feature of the securing wire with the securing wire and pull wire extended through securing ring. To deploy the implant, the pull wire can be retracted proximally to thereby allow the securing feature to pass through the securing ring and release the implant. The pusher can include a hypotube and/or an extended pushing feature on the securing wire.
