Abstract: Disclosed is a method in which a hash value and a first piece of information are obtained from a second device. The hash value is associated with a compartment of the compartment system, and the first piece of information is associated with a first device. Further, a second piece of information is obtained from the first device. Based on the first piece of information and the hash value, it is determined whether the second piece of information authorizes access to one or more compartments of the compartment system. Three associated methods, one executed by a first device, one executed by a second device, and one executed by a mobile device, are also disclosed. In addition, corresponding devices, systems, and computer programs for the respective execution and/or control of one or more of the disclosed methods are disclosed.

Abstract: An unloading device for unloading a tote from a shelf in a warehouse includes at least two arms for grabbing the tote in the shelf, whereby the arms essentially each extend in a horizontal direction and are arranged distant and parallel to each other. The arms are movable in a vertical and/or horizontal direction in respect to a position of the tote in the shelf and in their horizontal distance to each other in respect to the shape of the tote. Additionally, each arm includes a motorized conveyer belt extending along the essential horizontal direction on the arm up to touching a tip of the respective arm for unloading the tote from the shelf.

Abstract: A pallet transport means for transporting a plurality of pallets includes a base frame configured to receive the plurality of pallets, and at least two lifting units arranged oppositely on the base frame. Each lifting unit has a plurality of spaced apart brackets which are connected to one another and which are configured in each case to receive a respective pallet in pairs in an opposite manner, and can be moved on one hand orthogonally and on the other hand parallel in relation to the base frame.

The method includes receiving a shipment, in particular a letter shipment. The method includes checking whether the shipment is to be placed in a register compartment of the plurality of register compartments. Abstract: Disclosed is a method in which a key is acquired; access information is generated; and the access information is encrypted with the key. Further, an indicator is associated with the access information and first data is output. The first data includes the access information encrypted with the key and the indicator. Third data is acquired from an apparatus having a key for decrypting the encrypted access information, and the third data includes a code word and an indicator. Access information is determined from the third data, and it is ascertained whether the code word authorizes access. Access is granted to a compartment installation if it was ascertained that the code word authorizes access. Two associated methods, one performed by a mobile apparatus, and another performed by a system are disclosed. Furthermore, corresponding apparatuses, systems, and computer programs are disclosed.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for positioning a vehicle, in particular a lorry, at a loading and/or unloading point, comprising at least one sensor for detecting a position of the vehicle, an evaluation unit for determining a distance between the vehicle and the loading and/or unloading point depending on the detected position of the vehicle, and a display unit for visualising feedback to a driver of the vehicle depending on the distance between the vehicle and the loading and/or unloading point, wherein the at least one sensor and the display unit are designed for mounting on the loading and/or unloading point. In this way, an apparatus for positioning a vehicle is provided, with which any vehicle can be positioned reliably and precisely at a predetermined point, irrespective of the vehicle type or vehicle equipment.

Abstract: A method performed at a mobile transport unit is disclosed. In the method, parameters are determined by using sensors of the transport unit. The parameters include characteristics of the transport unit and/or characteristics of a consignment transported by the transport unit. In the method, the parameters are transmitted to a routing system, which determines a transport route for the transport unit, a need that waypoints/timing of an existing transport route of the transport unit has to be changed to obtain a changed transport route, or a need for a specific handling of the consignment. In the method, an instruction is received that is a routing instruction from the routing system pertaining to the determined transport route for the transport unit, to a transfer of the consignment from the transport unit to another transport unit, or to how the consignment shall be handled by the transport unit.
