Abstract: A fully fashion knitted outer covering made by using a method for generation of contour fit 3D fully fashion knitted outer covering pattern based on 3D exterior data of an object. The method comprises the following steps: digitizing an individual to create a 3D object data cloud; automatically and/or manually recognizing object's exterior landmarks; extracting the object's exterior measurements; calculating the outer covering pattern block of the digitized surface of the object according to the extracted object's exterior measurements including geodesic measurements; transforming the outer covering block to 3D weft knitted outer covering pattern by introducing horizontal and/or vertical darts; and translating the modified knitted outer covering pattern to knitting diagrams and/or instructions, which can then be transferred to knitwear CAD system to control the automatic knitting machine to knit the required knitted outer covering.

Abstract: A ToF SPAD based range detecting module is configurable for operation in a first mode to make a distance determination relative to an object within a field of view. The ToF SPAD based range detecting module is further configurable for operation in a second mode to enagage in bi-directional data communication with another apparatus within the field of view.
Abstract: An apparatus includes a camera module configured to generate at least one image and a ToF SPAD based range detecting module configured to generate at least one distance determination to an object within a field of view of the camera module. A processor receives the at least one image from the camera module output and receives the at least one distance determination from the ToF SPAD based range detecting module. This data is processed by the processor to determine a depth map.
Abstract: A distance sensing apparatus includes a light source configured to emit polarized light. A light sensitive detector detects light emitted by said light source and reflected from a target. The light sensitive detector is configured to substantially prevent polarized light reflected from a target with a relatively high reflectance from being detected.
Abstract: A ranging apparatus includes an array of light sensitive detectors configured to receive light from a light source which has been reflected by an object. The array includes a number of different zones. Readout circuitry including at least one read out channel is configured to read data output from each of the zones. A processor operates to process the data output to determine position information associated with the object.

Abstract: A ranging apparatus includes a first array with first light sensitive detectors configured to receive light which has been reflected by an object and generate an output. A second array, spaced apart from the first array by a spacing distance, is further included, the second array having second light sensitive detectors. The second array is configurable to either receive light which has been reflected by the object or to be a reference array and generate an output. A processor operates to determine a distance to the object in response to the outputs from the first and the second arrays.
Abstract: A fully fashion knitwear made by using a method for generation of contour fit three-dimensional (3D) fully fashion knitwear pattern based on 3D body data of an individual. The method comprises the following steps: digitizing an individual to create a 3D body data cloud; automatically recognizing body landmarks; extracting the body measurements; calculating the garment pattern block of the digitized surface of the individual according to the extracted body measurements including geodesic (minimal distance) measurements; transforming the garment block to 3D weft knitwear pattern by introducing horizontal and/or vertical darts; and translating the modified knitwear pattern to knitting diagrams and/or instructions, which can then be transferred manually to knitwear CAD system to control the automatic knitting machine to knit the required knitwear.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for synchronizing an action in a piece of Rich Media® content with a change in a piece of audiovisual content, said Rich Media® and audiovisual content being part of a Rich Media® presentation. According to the invention, the method comprises the following steps: obtaining a piece of information representative of said change in said piece of audiovisual content, or change information; synchronizing an action in said piece of Rich Media® content with said change, said synchronization step including the following substeps: converting said change information into a Rich Media® event; detecting said event by at least one Rich Media® object of said presentation; triggering said action in said presentation on the basis of said detected event.
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for updating a bill. In use, a replica of a bill is displayed. In addition, a selection of al least one parameter of the bill is received. In response to the selection, a user (e.g. a customer representative, etc.) is permitted to enter an updated value for the parameter. Further, the parameter of the bill is updated in the consequent billing cycle to reflect the updated value.

Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product are provided for migrating interdependent data objects from a first device to a second device. In use, at least one first data object to be migrated from a first device to a second device associated with a target code is received. Further, it is determined that the second device associated with the target code requires at least one second data object to be present at least one of before the at least one first data object or at a same time as the at least one first data object. Additionally, the at least one first data object to be migrated from the first device to the second device associated with the target code is stored in a cache. Furthermore, an interdependency event associated with the at least one first data object and the at least one second data object is detected. In response to detecting the interdependency event, the at least one second data object to be migrated from the first device to the second device associated with the target code is received.
