Abstract: A solid-state sensor, including an enclosure having a first opening in a first side of the enclosure and a second opening in a second side of the enclosure, a first passageway in fluid communication with the first and second openings, and a solid-state direction sensor positioned within the first passageway. The solid-state direction sensor can include a first sensor positioned at a first axial position, a second sensor positioned at a second axial position, and a flow deflector positioned at a third axial position that is between the first and second axial positions. The flow deflector can extend into the first passageway so as to constrict the first passageway.
Abstract: An orthodontic apparatus (1; 10) is designed with at least one orthodontically effective element (4; 12) and at least one holding element (5; 13) for holding the apparatus (1; 10) on the jaw, whereby the apparatus (1; 10) is designed in one piece. In a method for producing an orthodontic apparatus, an electronic data set is produced for a three-dimensional model (2) of a jaw to which the apparatus is supposed to be attached. Further, a virtual positioning of one or more orthodontic elements (4; 12) of the apparatus on jaw model (2) takes place. An electronic data set of a three-dimensional model (3; 11) of the apparatus is subsequently produced. The apparatus (1; 10) is then produced by an additive and/or removal production method according to the data set of the apparatus model.
Abstract: Various apparatuses, systems, methods, and media are disclosed to provide a magnetic recording medium that capping layer doped with an effective amount of metal to control grain-to-grain exchange coupling in a capping layer. A magnetic recording medium includes a substrate, a magnetic recording layer (MRL) on the substrate, and a capping layer on the MRL. The capping layer include Co and is doped with a metal (e.g., Ru or Ta) in a range from 1 atomic percent to 5 atomic percent, inclusive.
Abstract: A silicone edge graphic that is magnetically mountable to a wall is disclosed. No mechanical fasteners or adhesives are used to mount the silicone edge graphic to the wall. The back surface of the silicone edge graphic may have a non-marring configuration, so that the silicone edge graphic does not damage the wall. Additionally, a frame of the silicone edge graphic may be flexible enough to allow the user to remove the silicone edge graphic by peeling the silicone edge graphic off of the wall starting from one peripheral section or corner then progressive to the rest of the periphery. The magnets may also be positioned to reduce a force required to lift the section or corner of the silicone edge graphic off of the wall to begin peeling the silicon edge graphic off of the wall.

During the sensing operation, the circuitry, in a first sensing process, senses the memory cells of the selected word line using both a fast read technique and a positive sensing technique. The circuitry also determines a fail bit count and compares the fail bit count to a threshold. In response to the fail bit count being less than or equal to the threshold, the circuitry completes the sensing operation. In response to the fail bit count exceeding the threshold, then the circuitry performs a second sensing process to sense threshold voltages of the memory cells of the selected word line using a relatively slower read technique.
Abstract: The memory device includes a die with a plurality of memory blocks which are physically arranged in six planes. The die is configured to allow parallel operations in memory blocks of any combination of all six plane. The memory device also includes circuitry that is configured to operate the die in at least two different operating modes depending on a type of memory product that the die is connected with. Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for detecting UAVs in an RF environment are disclosed. An apparatus is constructed and configured for network communication with at least one camera. The at least one camera captures images of the RF environment and transmits video data to the apparatus. The apparatus receives RF data and generates FFT data based on the RF data, identifies at least one signal based on a first derivative and a second derivative of the FFT data, measures a direction from which the at least one signal is transmitted, analyzes the video data. The apparatus then identifies at least one UAV to which the at least one signal is related based on the analyzed video data, the RF data, and the direction from which the at least one signal is transmitted, and controls the at least one camera based on the analyzed video data.

Abstract: The embodiments include a power converter including a DC/AC conversion unit. A direct current bus is connected to the DC/AC conversion unit and a direct current source. The DC/AC conversion unit is further connected to a power grid. When a direct current bus voltage is less than or equal to a first voltage threshold, the power converter may switch to a current source mode to output first output power to the power grid, where the first output power is equal to an output power limit of the direct current source. Then, if a fluctuation amplitude of the direct current bus voltage is less than or equal to a first fluctuation threshold, the power converter may resume outputting second output power to the power grid in a voltage source mode, so that the second output power is less than or equal to the output power limit of the direct current source.
