Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electrical motor configured to operate with conductive fluids internal to the motor without short-circuiting. One embodiment is a telemetry modulator that can include the electric motor and a valve coupled with the electric motor. The valve has a valve stator and a valve rotor, and the electric motor can be used to control accurately the valve opening and closing with valve rotor rotation. The valve rotor can rotate continuously or in oscillations to generate a continuous pressure wave, such as for MWD/LWD communication. The electric motor is configured to allow drilling mud to flow into the electric motor without short-circuiting by the motor stator and/or motor rotor having an electric motor winding and a termination for the winding, the winding and termination having a nonconductive coating. The electric motor can be used in other applications inside and outside the oil field environment.

Abstract: A projectile loader is provided having a body split into two portions attached by a hinge, wherein a release mechanism for separating the two portions is located internally of the loader body, accessed via a top opening.
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for inspecting and analyzing a pump rotor, such as a progressive cavity pump rotor, by moving a laser that illuminates a surface of the pump rotor along a length of the pump rotor and determining distances from various surfaces of the pump rotor relative to a datum, such as a receiver of reflected radiation from the laser, along the length of the pump rotor. The pump rotor can be rotated relative to the laser, so that the laser can be used in determining multiple peripheral surfaces of the pump rotor to form a cross sectional shape, a longitudinal alignment of the pump rotor surfaces, or a combination thereof.
Abstract: With respect to fiber optic structured cabling, dense optical termination and patching platforms, systems, and methods herein involve using an optical-connector adapter cassette that has double rows of adapters on a front portion and at least one goose-neck portion that transitions to a single row of adapters on a rear portion. The double rows of adapters may have virtually no geometry between them. Two cassettes may be cantilevered at the front of a fiber-optic enclosure. The systems includes other aspects.
Abstract: In a method adapted to track and analyze spatial analytics data of any of a VR, AR, or MR device wearer within their digital reality environment, x, y, and z coordinate data is gathered in real time while the wearer operates in their digital reality environment. The spatial analytics data is then packaged and transformed for display to in near real time to a developer of the environment for analysis thereby.
Abstract: A foregrip for a projectile launcher is disclosed. The foregrip includes a proximal longitudinal end mounted to a projectile launcher and a distal longitudinal end positioned away from a projectile launcher. An access panel is hinged to a battery compartment at the distal longitudinal end of the foregrip. A release button separates the access panel from the foregrip. The release button is located on the proximal longitudinal end of the foregrip.

Abstract: An over-bit backreamer. The backreamer is configured to be placed over a bit without detaching the bit from a drill string associated with a pilot bore. The backreamer has an internal surface that conforms to a steering surface of the bit. Rotation is transferred from the bit to the backreamer at the internal surface. The backreamer further defines a flange which interacts with a feature, such as a heel, on the bit. The flange and heel form a shoulder which transfers pullback force to the bit. The backreamer comprises a pullback eye that pulls a product pipe back through the borehole.

Abstract: A compressed gas gun including a housing and a bolt movable within a passage in the housing. Movement of the bolt relative to the housing opens a flow path for firing a projectile.
Abstract: The disclosure provides a lubricator system and method for entering the oil/gas wellhead or casing head with a wireline and tool while being able to safely shut or contain well pressure build up. The lubricator is coupled with a lubricator cutting flapper valve and can be attached to a wellhead on the oil/gas well, so that the lubricator extends below the wellhead. The wellhead can be opened, allowing the wireline and tool to enter into the bore. The tool is attached to a wireline cable that is controlled on the surface by means of a spooled drum attached to a portable or mobile machine or equipment. The lubricator cutting flapper valve includes structure that can sever the wireline and seal the lubricator to avoid allowing well gas or fluids to escape if necessary.
Abstract: A retractable auger boring cutter head. The cutter head has fixed cutters and at least one pivoting cutter. The pivoting cutter is biased to a position that extends beyond a diameter of a casing being installed. When pulled back through the casing, a surface of the pivoting cutter contacts the casing, reducing the effective diameter of the cutter head and allowing it to be removed.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to a ball feed mechanism and associated method for use in a paintball loader. The ball feed mechanism includes a feeder which conveys or impels balls toward a feed neck, and a drive member which is concentric with the feeder. The feeder is coupled to the drive member. An electric motor is used to rotate the drive member which in turn causes the feeder to rotate. The feed mechanism includes sensors which detect the motion of the feeder and the drive member. A controller determines the position of the feeder relative to the drive member and actuates a motor when necessary.
