Abstract: An assembly for housing a beacon comprising a number of tools for tracking and locating a drill bit. The assembly is for use as part of a drill string for horizontal directional drilling applications. The housing allows the beacon to be loaded at an end, and provides a side window at an opposite end for viewing the orientation of the beacon within the housing. The housing comprises a locating tab for pairing with a locating slot of the beacon to provide proper orientation. The window has a removable cover to secure the beacon when the access window is not needed for inspection of the beacon.

Abstract: A document delivery system for electronic and physical documents with proof of service. The system may receive uploaded electronic documents for delivery to one or more electronic and/or physical endpoints. After the electronic documents have been received, the delivery system determines whether the received electronic documents should be delivered electronically or physically, based on recipient data in the delivery system. If physical documents are to be delivered, the system may intelligently decide whether to aggregate some documents into a multi-document package. The system provides for delivery by commercial carrier, postal service, and/or electronic delivery. Optional services available to the sender include, but are not limited to, certified mail, proof of service, and email confirmation.

Abstract: An offset rock bit (12) has a steering face (28) and a shoe (30) provided by a recess formed into the steering face (28). A slot (66) formed into the shoe (30) for receiving a pull back adapter (50) in a centrally located position in the forward end of the offset rock bit (12). The pull back 5 adapter (50) has a pull back eye (52) with a central axis (62) which is aligned with a centrally disposed longitudinal axis (20) of the offset rock bit (12) and the tool string (10). This aligns the pull back eye (52) of the pull back adapter (50) with a borehole formed using the offset rock bit (12). The pull back adapter (50) also includes side edges (54, 56) which are configured for centering the pull back adapter (50) and pull back conduit within the borehole.

Abstract: A steam mop that includes a handle, an extension member, a base mount, a steam generator, and a mop head. The steam generator includes a body that at least partially contains a fluid tank, fluid pump and a heating element used to at least partially vaporize fluid. The body of the steam generator is designed to be releasably connected to the base mount such that the steam generator can be used as a steam producing device for the steam mop or can be disconnected from the base mount and be used as a stand alone steam producing device.

Abstract: A beverage maker that includes a container having a bottom wall, side wall extending upwardly from the bottom wall to foam a container cavity and a lid. The bottom wall includes a drain opening to enable liquid to drain from the container cavity. The lid is designed to be movable between an open and closed position. The lid forms a cover over a top of the container cavity. The lid includes a filter rib that extends partially into the container cavity when the lid is in a closed position. A drain plug is provided to control a flow of liquid through the drain opening.

Abstract: An ultraviolet ionizing unit for an air purifying that treats all air passing therethrough. The unit has a housing with an air ingress opening at first end, an air egress opening at a second end, an open end, at least two spaced apart internal retainers formed inside the housing, and a cavity formed in a space between the two spaced apart internal retainers. Two sections of ion generating material are retained in a spaced apart manner by the two spaced apart internal retainers. Spacers are used to hold a U-shaped UV lamp in the cavity, provide cushioning of the UV lamp therein, and providing additional sealing so that all air passing through the ionizing unit will be treated. A housing end cap covers the open end of the housing and retains the UV lamps therein so that the ion generating materials is fully exposed by UV light.

Abstract: A food chopper includes a housing and a central shaft supported in a vertically movable configuration inside the housing. The central shaft has a lower end with at least one center blade, an upper end operably connected to a plunger, and a middle segment with two lateral arms. Two blade assemblies are rotatably connected to the two lateral arms of the central shaft. Each of the two blade assemblies includes a shaft connected to an outer blade. A means for converting vertical motion of the central shaft into rotational motion of the blade assemblies, such as a conversion mechanism operably connected to each of the two blade assemblies, is provided. Depressing the plunger causes the at least one center blade of the central shaft to move vertically downward within the housing and the two outer blades to move vertically downward and rotate within the housing.

Abstract: A melt pressure sensor comprises a housing, a stem, a pressure sensing element, a time-to-digital converter, a processor, a digital-to-analog converter, and a first input. The stem comprises a pressure sensing surface fluidly coupled to a molten material. The pressure sensing surface is mechanically or fluidly coupled to the pressure sensing element, and the pressure sensing element is electrically coupled to the time-to-digital converter, which determines the melt pressure by measuring an electrical characteristic of the pressure sensing element. The processor reads the pressure from the time-to-digital converter and outputs an analog output value from the digital-to-analog converter representative of the melt pressure. When the first input is activated, the processor causes the analog output signal to have a predetermined value.

Abstract: A golf flagpole and ferrule assembly for mounting in a golf cup hole is disclosed. The flagpole and ferrule both include cooperating coupling parts to form an attachment therebetween. A cap is applied over portions of the flagpole and the ferrule to couple to the retaining members and secure the flagpole to the ferrule.

Abstract: A universal surgical plate comprises a symmetrical design which enables it to be used for both right and left sided TPLO procedures as well as other orthopedic procedures on other bilaterally symmetric bones. The plate provides a 30 degree angle compression force with respect to the longitudinal axis of the plate in order to ensure maximum compression across an osteotomy or fracture. The plate is affixed across the osteotomy or fracture with orthopedic screws disposed through a plurality of elongated and circular drive apertures. The drive apertures are defined within the plate at sufficient distances to preserve the integrity of the underlying bone. The body of the plate also comprises a plurality of notches for improving periosteal circulation. The head of the plate includes a pair of recessed corners so that the plate may be implanted close to an assisting jig pin on smaller breeds of canines.

Abstract: A contoured framed artwork comprises a picture frame surrounding a support member. The support member is a three-dimensional support member that has a raised, carved, or contoured portion surrounding a planar portion. A two-dimensional artwork is adhered to the planar portion. The support member includes a coating the provides an appearance of plaster or metal, or the like. A variety of different prints can be adhered to the planar portion of the support member to allow the support member to be used with a variety of different artworks.

Abstract: A mounting device for the end of a flag pole that provides an enhanced coupling of the pole within a golf cup is provided. The mounting device includes a securement rib that fastens to the pole without adhesive or secondary fasteners. The mounting device also includes features to minimize sticking to the golf cup and provides for a more upright presentation of the flag pole even in windy or breezing conditions.

Abstract: A ferrule and coupling member assembly for mounting a flag pole is disclosed. The ferrule and coupling member are both formed from a non-metallic material, such as a ceramic composite material, which aids in wear-resistance and provides a low coefficient of friction between the surfaces. In addition, debris will be less likely to become lodged in a gap between the ferrule and coupling member and particulate matter on the golf course will not be able to gouge or scratch the ferrule or the coupling member.
